ThefollowingfromProRacingexplainsthethinkingbehindtheseries. Purpose:ThepurposeofthePirelliWorldChallenge®Championshipsistoprovideteams,manufacturersandaftermarketsuppliersacompetitiveproduction-basedraceseriesinwhichtoprovetheirproducts. Race Length:Thereisa50-minutemaximumtimelimitforeveryrace,withthenumberoflapsandtotaldistancebeingdeterminedbytrackconfiguration,laptimesandraceconditions.
