Your responsibilities as board members…

Mazkirah • Send out texts publicizing events • Make Facebook events • Manage chapter social media

Orechet • Take pictures at each event • Send out newsletter • Organize chapter scrapbook

Katvanit • Take business minutes • Post the minutes online for the

chapter/region to see

These positions are very low-maintenance, simple, and easy to do.

This year will be a breeze if you simply follow your responsibilities

accordingly..

Creativity and going above and beyond what your position necessarily entails is what keeps

our order running!

 

First and foremost, Mazkirah!

You see, my dear Mazkirim, this position is often underestimated! It is not as simple as one may believe it to be, and is so essential to the good and

welfare of any chapter across the order!

I got elected, now what do I do? Read on to be enlightened!

Your duties as Mazkirah consist of: - Making sure chapter is aware of all upcoming

chapter, regional, and international events o This can be done via:

§ Face to face § Facebook § Text message § Email § Website § Flyers § Postcards/written mail § Phone tree/phone calls

- Communicate with chapter members on the daily - Be a role model to the chapter as a board member

   

 

HOW DO I SOCIAL MEDIA? My dear mazkirim, is it so important to work out of your comfort zone. Especially when it comes to Facebook, the gram”, Twitter, etc! Read on for some tips, tricks, ideas!

My creative recommendation to you regarding social media is to use hashtags and competition. Whoever

gets the most likes on “x” picture using our hashtag, NesichotDoesBusiness gets a gift card, or other type of incentive. This way, everyone posts and not just you! More people will therefore see it. This can be

used for any TYPE OF social media.

The key to creativity via text message is humor. Try to send “funny selfies” attached to each text or email! This will make everyone get excited for your email or text. When it comes to calls, maybe use a funny joke or pick up line! You can also add cute shoutouts to chapter members to inspire

them to check the email or text!

This is just the beginning. There is so much more to be explored regarding your positions, and I cannot wait to

learn from you along as you learn from me! J

 

 

O-R-E-C-H-E-T, ORECHET, ORECHET, TO VICTORY

Orechet has a bunch of responsibilities consisting of taking pictures at events, sending out newsletters,

and to complete a chapter newsletter!

Things that YOU can do out-of-the ordinary orechet duties: - Invest in a chapter polaroid - Print all newsletters, and pass them out at

meetings - Create news videos to release - Figure out chapter traditions by having oldest

members ask older members. Re-incorporate these into daily meetings!

- Send birthday cards to chapter members

Orechet, although often underestimated, are such an important aspect of any

chapter or chapter board. I cannot wait to work together and make your

position absolutely rock!

The Katvanit has by far one of the most important jobs on chapter board. The Katvanit takes notes at chapter business meetings. To an outlooker, this may seem totally easy and unimportant! But really, the Katvanit is the glue of the entire chapter. Without the Katvanit, the chapter would fold.
