PaTSIn the heart of the Amazon in Peru, indigenous Yanesha artisans work with PaTS to sustainably harvest from managed forests that have long been their home. They carve each bowl by hand, digging out the hollow of the bowl and refining the curves with hundreds of strokes. Utilizing managed forests, PaTS preserves the abundant biodiversity and natural beauty of Amazonian communities while supporting their families with fair wages.

Artesanos De San PedroIn a small town outside of Antigua, Guatemala, the Artesanos de San Pedro have created a workshop dedicated to the sustainable production of cutting boards and wine toppers. Incorporating modern techniques with traditional handcrafted quality, these artisans cut, smooth, and shape each piece of teakwood into a unique piece for the table. The Artesanos de San Pedro gather recycled or sustainably sourced wood from the Smartwood Alliance in order to secure the future of the wildlife that surrounds their community.
