Where is My Partner?• Your partner is the person sitting next to you,

sometimes across from you or depending on the classroom configuration.

• The teacher will switch-it-up weekly to ensure you have the opportunity to practice with

various partners.

What Do I DO?• When working with a partner you sit straight

and tall, nothing on your table that will obstruct your view.

• Look your partner in the eyes – eye contact is very important in ASL.

• Refrain from mouthing or talking.
