Disease Mapping Application January 2015
The application mined data from Twitter and Yelp based on keywords. The users were classified into one of
the 17 relevant categories by analyzing their activity (tweets).
Created an iPhone application using Objective-C that displayed diseases of people of the San Diego on the
map by fetching data stored in DynamoDB. Also implemented MapReduce using EMR on big-data stored in
Amazon’s s3.
The application along with its Web App gained recognition from Sunquest in Hackathon 2016-HackArizona.
Dropbox Application August 2015
Dropbox App-based service (in python) that automatically compresses files stored in Dropbox. This service
was implemented using GAE, GAE push Queues, AWS EC2, AWS SQS and Dropbox application.
Pokémon Game December 2014
Made a Pokémon game in Java with a playable character (trainer) and several Pokémons. Threads were used
for simultaneous motion of the Pokémon and the trainer was controlled by the user (keyboard input).
