Curriculum Structure 2018
• Whole School Reading Programme at 7.20 am every morning
• Each period is 55 minutes long
• To ensure that students’ well-being is taken care of, in view of the long school day, regular breaks are factored into their timetable:
– 35-minute Recess time
– 15-minute Snack Break at 12.15 pm
– 30-minute Lunch Break after school before remedial
Attendance and Punctuality
• To support student learning and holistic development:
– Attendance in school including CCAs and school activities during term time is compulsory
– Valid Medical Certificate or a Letter of Excuse (not more than 4 per term) from parents or guardians
– Punctual for school, CCAs and school activities

CCA
• The CCA Programme provides students with a platform to discover their interests and talents. CCA also offer excellent platforms for students to learn core values, social and emotional competencies and the emerging 21st Century Competencies. This helps the individual to lead a balanced life in adulthood.
• CCA participation is compulsory for all students in secondary schools with at least ONE CCA.
• At least 75% of CCA attendance each year.
• CCA activities will be suspended during Term 1 and 3 Common Tests, and 2 weeks before Semester 1 and 2 Examinations.
