    Important InformationYOU MUST CONFIRM YOUR CHOICE ON THE SIGN

    UP SHEET OUTSIDE THE FDA OFFICE BY THE 3RD

    FEBRUARY AT THE LATEST.

    You are advised to refer to the A tested working method

    handout as a guide to structuring this project successfully.

    Considering this suggested methodology in relation to your

    own practice will help you to demonstrate the learning

    outcomes against which you will be judged/ assessed. It will

    also help you to mangae your time more effectively.

    Interim presentationsYou must present your preliminary research, analysis, initial

    experimentation and a range of possible solutions to the

    class at 10am on Tuesday the 14th February.

    Dates and deadlines explainedYou should aim to have completed the competition brief by

    the week ending the 2nd of March. This date is independentof those set by the competition commitees but must be

    adhered to in order to enable you enough time to complete

    the remainder of the Unit 8 submission (Personal Research

    Project) and Unit 7.

    N.B. It is the responsibility of the student to complete the

    appropriate registration and submission procedure for their

    chosen competition.

    Fda working deadline for competitions: 2nd March 2011

    Unit 8 Hand-in: 22nd May 2012.

    Required assessment evidenceAny completed project should include evidence of research,

    planning and development methodologies as well as the

    practical outcomes of this project as a minimum.
