For our Central Application Support, based at Schiphol Airport in the
Netherlands, we are looking for an experienced and self-motivated
Central Application (Cargospot) Support (CAS) Team Member
who is available as soon as possible.
Responsibilities and Main tasks Central Application Support staff:
1. Maintenance and Development of the Cargo applications (mainly
Cargospot) used in:
a. Operations
b. Customs interfaces
c. Accounting (Invoicing)
d. Hand held Terminals
e. Swissport Tracking & Tracing web-site (Freightfinder)
2. Functional Designs.
3. 2nd
Line Support to local Super Users or local / regional IT organization.
4. Acceptance testing.
5. Standardization and automation of test procedures.
6. Bug reporting.
7. Communication with software provider about pending change requests
and bug reports.
8. Training (Train-the-Trainer).
9. Implementation Support, on-site and off-site.

10. Set-up and maintain system documentation (User Manuals, Hand-Outs,
Release Notes, evaluate documentation delivered by the software
provider).
The CAS staff must have the following skills available to accomplish
above activities:
Detailed knowledge of Cargospot Handling (functionality and data model)
Detailed knowledge of cargo handling operations and processes
Knowledge on administrator level of operating system and database
(assumed to be: MS-Windows 2000 / MS-SQL Server)
Knowledge of the selected report writing tool (Crystal Reports).
Detailed experience with software test procedures and methodologies
Training experience
Good communicative skills at all levels (English)
Experience in business and functional analyses
Knowledge of Swissport Cargo Services organization
Knowledge of the financial accounting structure (for the support and control
of the accounting interfaces from Cargospot Handling to the various
accounting packages)
Willingness to travel
