PhD thesis dissertation title is: “An Interactive Assessment Methodology to Enhance Teaching
Performance and Student Experience in e-Learning Environment”
The study was conducted using multidisciplinary research domain i.e. electronic learning, pedagogical
assessment, multimedia-based interaction, computer vision, machine learning and data science under the
supervision of Dr. Muhammad Aslam.
The idea presented in the thesis and its published papers is now implemented in China, the Hangzhou No.
11 Middle School is trialing a smart classroom behavior management system, which uses cameras and
facial recognition to keep track of student performance.

• I am working as Assistant Professor in Computer Science Department from 23-01-2015 to
date. The responsibilities include: conducting research, delivering lectures and other tasks.
• I have worked as Lecturer in Computer Science department from 21-12-2012 to 22-01-
2015. Delivering lectures for undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting labs and
other responsibilities include batch advisor, member of various research committees, to
