Many diverse industries from foodto petroleum products use mufflefurnaces to ash both incoming andoutgoing product for analysis.Conventional furnaces can takehours to ash a sample, delayingboth receipt of incoming raw mate-rials and shipment of outgoingproduct. Fortunately, there is analternative.
Phoenix muffle furnaces can per-form many high temperature appli-cations up to 97% faster than con-ventional muffle furnaces.Samples can be ashed in as littleas 5 minutes!
The Phoenix line of microwave-powered ashing systems offersgreater speed and flexibility thanconventional furnaces, while pro-viding accurate and reproducibleresults.

Programmable and automatictemperature controls are stan-dard on every Phoenix system.Multiple methods may be storedwith up to 8 individual ramp, dwell, and hold times. Recall anymethod, any time and use yourown method names.
Our furnaces are utilized in a vari-ety of industries and can beoperated in "Quick Test" mode orby recalling stored programs. Thestandard program allows temper-ature input of 0 oC to 1200 oC. A special program, developed fordrying applications, provides similar control to ensure stabletemperatures up to 500 oC.
The NIST traceable DualThermocouple allows simultane-ous measurement of the furnacechamber temperature by anappropriate digital temperaturemeter. The Phoenix softwarecombined with the NIST traceableThermocouple Calibration SourceInstrument allow calibration ofthe temperature controller withthe time and date recorded in thecomputer memory for displayand/or printout.
