The genre for my music magazine is indie rock and new music. My frontcover follows a lot of conventions of a music magazine.

Short memorablename. Magazine names are also usually in a very large font so that they can be easily seen from a shop shelf, just like mine.Magazines also alwayshave issue numbers andthe issue date.

Magazines always havea large dominant imageon the front cover, to catchthe audiences eye and drawthem in. I have incorporatedthis convention into myfront cover. I have usedan eye catching image with the subject looking directly at the camera (connecting with the reader)

I used a simplecolour scheme ofred white and yellow as thesewere the coloursI found to be the most popular whenconducting my marketresearch.

Magazines alwayshave quotes or coverlines to represent storiesinside, I have both coverlines and a quote on my front cover.

Magazines will alwayshave a barcode, pricetag, and issue date.I have featured allof these things on the front cover of mymagazine.
