Remember:
• For bulk consignments, the best before/use by dates relate to date of manufacture and not date of dispatch.
• Feed Additives
– any particular conditions in authorisation
– Although the level of a feed additive in a complementary feed (per kg) may exceed the maximum authorised level, the equivalent content in complete feed may not be exceeded.
• If premix or mineral mixture has a BB date of 01 August 2011, compound feed manufactured using the premix/mineral mixture cannot have a BB after 01 August; So the BB date will not be 90 days after date of manufacture

• The Catalogue does not risk assess the suitability of feed for species or categories of animals,
• Feed Material names should be in accordance with the Catalogue.
• Synonyms in brackets are optional e.g. (Sugar) Cane Molasses.
• Processing aids - prohibited unless max content specified in the Catalogue e.g. Soya bean meal may contain up to max 1 % used bleaching earth or other filter aids.
