A one day overview of the essential properties of metals used in the aerospace industry, how they are produced and where in the aircraft architecture they are used.

Course aimsThis course provides an introduction to the principal aerospace metals and their applications. It describes their properties, how they are tested, processed and deployed in aircraft structures.

Who should attend Professionals from all parts of your business who have little experience of aerospace metals and whose activities link wholly or in part with the aerospace supply chain. A module of the QCF level 3 Certificate in Metallurgy qualification.
