SDL Multi-Point locking system especially designed for composite and timber doors
WINKHAUS STABLE DOOR LOCK
A purpose made composite door locking system with
two completely separate locks rather than a mismatched
combination of other locks. Supplied as standard with a
20mm faceplate has a number of features:
• High strength centre gearbox
• 25mm throw tapered plated steel hooks for optimum
security, ease of operation and weather performance
• 20mm wide radius end faceplate
• 45mm backset for a wide range of furniture options
• Lock and keeps plated to Grade 4 corrosion resistance to
BS EN1670 European Standard
• Sprung latch and nickel plated steel deadbolt provides
maximum strength in centre of the door
With the rack bolt engaged and all hooks retracted the door operates as a conventional door, releasing the rack bolt
separates the upper and lower leafs, you can now choose to open the top option only

Challenger Hinge Adjustment Instructions
Compression Adjustment +0.5mm -0.5mm (5mm Allen Key)
Remove the top cap.
Check pin alignment via mark on the top of the pin, if the mark is pointing towards the door sash, the adjustment is in the neu-tral setting.
To increase compression, turn the pin so that the alignment mark is moved towards the door frame.
To reduce compression, turn the pin so that the alignment mark moves away from the frame.
Vertical Adjustment +3.0mm -0.0mm (5mm Allen Key)
Remove the bottom cap.
To raise the door sash rotate the vertical adjustment screw clockwise, ensure that all other hinges are adjusted equally.
To lower the door sash rotate the vertical adjustment screw anti clockwise, ensure all other hinges are adjusted equally.
Lateral Adjustment +2.0mm -2.0mm (5mm Allen Key)
Remove the side cover caps
Rotate the lateral adjustment drives in the direction required, ensure that each pair of alignment marks are at the same point.
Warning
It is not reccomended to fully adjust either one adjuster only or one hinge only. Adjustments should be made gradually aligning each pair of marks on each hinge until the desired adjustment is achieved.

Butt Hinge Adjustment Instructions
Sideways Adjustment
To move the door leaf towards lock slacken screws ‘A’ & ‘B’. Tighten screws A first
To move the door leaf towards hinges slacken ‘A’ and ‘B’. Tighten B Screws first.
When adjustment is complete tighten all screws.
The nylon insert opposite is an integral part of our hinge and must not be discarded under any circumstances. It facilitates the sideways adjustment of our product.
Vertical Adjustment
Using 1mm washers provided: remove door, place required number of washers onto each pin and replace door.
Adjustment Towards Seal
1. Slacken screws ‘C’2. Adjust door in or out to required position3. Test operation of door.4. Pilot drill 3.5mm in holes ‘D’ and final fix using screws provided.
Note: For best performance lubricate pins on installation.

For Inward Opening Doors
The Composite threshold section meets the exacting demands of BS6375 Part 1 Class C (severe) weather test without the worry of building porches or special ramp detail.
It does not present an obstacle to wheeled traffic and is ideal for the disabled.
It is suitable for both new build and fabricator use.
This product replaces a timber threshold on doorsets. The robust base section secures the legs of the door frame.
LT6M
The unique thermal break prevents cold transfer from both the exterior and interior floor.
The end caps provide a seal to the cavities in the base section.

GT Panel Lok has been designed to improve the ease in which composite panels fitted and removed from their frames.
It comprises of two high tensile steel parts and one acetyl moulding.
It allows easy fitting of side panels after the frame has been secured into postion. If necessary, the panel can be removed from the inside as shown in the diagrams below.
To release the panel you will require 4 x ST004 Release Tools to disengage Panel Lok on one side only.
