XLPE insulated armoured HV and LV cables are planned to be laid in trays within underground RCC duct. From this, connections will be provided to residential, commercial and other uses.

Estimated cost of RCC Duct is Rs. 1.0 Crore per km per direction.

Pilot Project is taken up along Biyabani Road. Expected date of completion is 30 April 2017.

• Under AMRUT, Rs. 1628 Crores have been allocated for whole City.

• M/s DRA (Nagpur) have been appointed as Consultants by IMC.

• DPR for Phase 1 works has been received on 30 Oct 2016. this has been reviewed by TASU, observations are compiled.

- Feeder Mains = 7.4 kms.- Distribution Network = 69 kms.- Construction OHT & GSR = 2 no.s (3 ML OHT, 6 ML GSR)

• Sewerage System-Collection System = 42 kms.-De-centralised STP = 10 MLD

• Water Reuse-Reuse network = 24 kms-Construction of OHT = 1 nos. (3 ML)

• It is planned to implement POC in some schools by reputed vendors in Smart Education sector. Some schools are:

• Companies like DELL, ILFS, EDUCOMP have shown interest for POC.

• A workshop was organized on 07 Oct 2016 for School Principals and Teachers to discuss Smart Education approach.

Use of GIS Technology for Improving Property Tax Collection

GIS Survey Agency ADCC (Nagpur) is appointed for Detailed Property survey of whole city for collection of accurate and complete data related to Municipal Property Tax.  

Consultant has procured satellite Imagery for the whole City .

Physical Survey work for ABD  Area under Smart City Mission Completed. By 31 Dec 2016, work for ABD Area to be completed.

After complete survey work of whole City including 29 villages, Collection efficiency of all Corporation taxes will be increased.

Indore is a heritage‐rich and culturally‐vibrant city.

Conservation / adaptive re‐use of erstwhile royal structures isimportant to restore the city’s historic significance.

Heritage conservation can provide impetus to tourism sector.

Survey of lands for New Parking Project is under progress.  Identification of government‐owned, under‐utilized land is the emphasis.

In 1st Phase of Project Planning Parking buildings are proposed at ‐1. Veer Savarkar Market2. near Subhash ChaukWater Tank 3. Near Mukeripura Masjid 4. Yashwant Ganj near Malganj Chauraha on  IMC  Land,5. Open land near Khajuri Bazaar and behind Madhya Pradesh Book Stall 

EOI for POC is prepared. Strategy is to implement ‘SMART PARKING’ on PPP‐mode and design revenue‐sharing arrangement.  

ISCDL may have to provide VGF / CAPEX for building the parking structure.
