DELIVERY: Also in response to manycustomer requests, we introduce our newdelivery service. The specifics:

- $150 within a 25-mile radius ofeither our Hampshire or Vololocations.

- A forklift will be provided toassist in unloading.

- Anything can be delivered,excepting bulk materials (ie.Boulders and mulch)

- Customers need to be onsite todirect on where to drop thematerial, and then to sign for it.

Useful as both a specimen tree, as wellas for mass plantings, the Katsura Treeis an excellent inclusion into anylandscape plan.

A very hardy, slow-growing, pyramidal-shaped tree. It’s heart-shaped leavesemerge purplish in color, maturing to abluish-green, with a fine texture similar tothe Eastern Redbud (CercisCanadensis). Stunning apricot orange-yellow Fall foliage, akin to the SugarMaple. Full, dense multi-stemmedbranching allows for Winter screening.

Katsura Trees dislike dry conditions(water additionally during dry times), butare adaptable to many soil pHconditions. Excellent disease and pestresistance.

In light of the Emerald Ash Borer, here aresome options other than Ash…

Hedge Maple: This is a great tree to usewhen overhead wires are a consideration.Very tough, adapting well to urban settings.An excellent street tree. It’s corky bark addsWinter interest.

Autumn Blaze Red-Silver Maple: Similar insize to many Ash varieties. Broadly ovalshape with medium-green foliage andbrilliant red-orange Fall color. Larger sizesare available.

Alternative Plantstyles: Other than Ash…Skyline Honeylocust: A broadlypyramidal shape of this variety makesfor a very graceful form. Another greatstreet tree – very tolerant of manyenvironmental challenges.

Flowering Pear (Autumn Blaze,Chanticleer, or Redspire): All varietieshave glossy green leaves and variousshades of red Fall color. Beautifulwhite flowers make for stunningSpring color.
