ABOUT THE ORGANISERS SONYA KUHNEL Sonya is the co-‐owner of Bitcoin Events Pty Ltd which was founded in 2014. She is also the founder and Managing Director of the Blockchain Academy. The academy provides training and consul2ng for financial ins2tu2ons, corporates, developers, entrepreneurs, start-‐ups, schools, government and interested individuals on digital currencies such as bitcoin and the blockchain technology in South Africa. She is also the co-‐organiser of the Bitcoin Cape Town Meetup Group, which has about 400 members. Sonya is passionate about disrup2ve technology, digital currencies and blockchain technology.
