Aims and GoalsBISS Digital Learning Environment Strategic

Planning Defining what a digital learning environment is at BISS and

creating a shared vision for e-learning within the community

Developing a digital learner profile and continuum for learning where both teachers and students can be challenged through logical and supportive standards and goal setting

Defining an essential digital toolkit that can be used across the curriculum, including hardware, software, networking and support

Implementing professional development to fully support goal-setting and growth along the continuum within the digital learning environment

Providing opportunities for all community members to interact with, participate in and benefit from the digital learning environment

Strategic Goal #1

To develop a shared vision for e-learning and define a digital learning environment as it exists at BISS.

Expected Outcome: Members of the BISS community create a vision that is clearly understood and shared and provides a platform for further goal setting and strategic development in e-learning. A digital learning environment model that is pertinent to BISS can be created and shared based on this understanding.
