A cantilever is a beam supported on only one end.
The beam carries the load to the support where it is resisted By moment and shear stress.

Most trusses have the upper chord under compression.And the lower chord under tension
In a cantilever truss the beam is on the bottom And all the support is on the top. These are all trussBridges.
