Pedro Ivo, a newly graduated Electrical Engineer, needs a way to search for job opportunities that value his hard work through college, because investing years in a school that is irrelevant to your career doesn't encourage young people to study hard and find knowledge.

PROBLEM statement:

A website that follows the students all throughout college with their grades and other skill assessments and, when they graduate, it becomes a life and skill proficiency diploma.

my IDEA:

The website’s mission is to follow the student / new professional during their entire academic life, their grades, peers’ and professors’ opinions about their behavior and virtues and other skills that would be tested by the plataform, like enthusiasm, self-motivation, knowledge of foreign languages, spirit, and others.

Hiring companies could also develop specific “Skill Sets” inside the website. Those “Skill Sets” would be co-created by the plataform and the company. It would then become available for the students / new professionals that would be able to take an online course on that Skill Set and then assess their knowledge inside the plataform in a test developed by the hiring company and the website’s specialized professionals.

The main goal is to develop a tool that connects companies and students / new professionals while evaluating these students / new professionals in a holistic way, so that neither networking skills nor school grades or any other single characteristic would be the determinant asset evaluated during the process of applying for a new job.
