Donatello was born in Flornece Italy in 1386. Donatello served as an assistant to Lorenzo Ghiberte from 1416 - 1420

Donatello moved to Rome were he studied and excavated with Filippo Brunelles in Rome.

In 1409 – 1411 Donatello worked on a statue of St.John

St.Mark

In1413 he worked on a stattue of St.Mark

A sculptor

In 1430 Donatello did a bronze sculpture of David

When he died

In 1453 he returned to Florence. In 1466 he died at his home in Florence.
