We sold some profiterol, water and lemonade in bilgi university, kustepe campus for 3 hours.
We had a lot of fun and experience, it really improved our point of view about business, sales etc.
We learnt how to attract people and how hard is it. While we were doing this project, we gained lots
of things;
The importance of teamwork How important is to do market Researches before deciding sth. While selling sth to attract and Convince people is too important
Our Prices
1) 1 portion profiterol + 1 bottle water or 1 glass lemonade = 5 tl
2) 1 glass lemonade = 1 tl 3) 1 bottle water = 50 kuruş
Expected Sales
45 portion profiterol 20 lt water 20 lt lemonade
45*5=225 ( profiterol )
225+25=250 ( extra water and lemonade for example: 20 water and 15 lemonade )
ACTUAL SALES 33 Portion profiterol, 33*5 = 165TL (include22 water and 5 lemonade)
15 water 15*0.5 = 7.5TL
18 lemonade 18*1.5 = 27 TL TİP = 6.5 TL
TOTAL 206TL
We paid…
60 bottles water= 20tL
30 bottles lemonade= 10 Tl
6kg 45 porsion profiterol= 60TL
Supplies(plastic,plate,spoon,napkins,ice) = 6 TL
TOTAL=96TL
We bought; We sold;
60 bottles of water
30 bottles of lemonade
45 porsion profiterol
37 bottles of water
23 bottles of lemonade
35 portion profiterol
So we have; 23 bottle of water left.
7 bottle of lemonade left.10 porsion profiterol left.
Promotions we had.. As we said before, we opened a facebook
account. But it wasn’t too beneficial for our sales..
And we had couple of brochures around the school. But we are not sure if it’s worked or not.
We think the best promotion, advirtesement is people’s advices. Because we had a bunch of customer which heard from his/her friend and came to our stand.
Our Price
When we said our price , nobody didn’t suprised . Because we had our market research before we agreed on price. So it was proper price for the customers.
ABOUT OUR SALES;
Our sales was pretty succesfull . We didn’t sell so much profiterol because it was early in the morning and many of the customers didnt have their breakfast. So they didn’t attract to our product much. We expected 250TL but we earned 210TL.
Our Profit
We gain totally 206 tl.
We spent 96 for the products.
So our net income is 110 tl
