Pictures from first photo shoot for school news letter

Including the pictures for new head teacher and the new buildings.

i did various photos of Mr Smith; i wanted to make sure that i got a shot of him with doing something to make it look more sophisticated. I like this shot however it cuts off a lot of his desk off so it makes the image look untidy.

I tried a different shot by doing a close up shot however showing him doing work.I don’t think this shot is successful as it is all squashed together.

This is the best shot out of the three that we took, as it shows the setting that he is in as it shows the desk and also shows a picture on his wall to show sophistication. The facial expression shows the concentration while he his reading paper. Another point is that the way that there are pieces of paper laid out on the desk as it shows that he is always at work.

This is the photo again that we chose was best, I decided to edit the photo to make the contrast of the colour brighter and i also edited the highlights and shadows to make the room look more bright and also made him look more bright.I did this editing by using photo shop elements 8.

This was the first picture we took of one of the school buildings. I made sure that I got the image at an angle to

show most of the building in the shot.

This shot is very similar to the previous shot however, it is zoomed in more than the other so it doesn’t have much in the

background and foreground of the shot.

I decided to take a shot portrait to get a different

perspective of the building.

I have decided with the members of the team; that we should use this photo as one of the buildings that have just been built. I like the idea of having it portrait as it looks more professional also as it gives the building more of an abstract view of the building.

This is the other building that we chose to use as one of the new buildings. I chose to take the shot from an

angle to get most of the walls into the image and also it shows the design.

We came to an agreement that this will be the other building to use on to the newsletter as again as it is taken from an angle; it also shows the fence which

gives it more sophistication.
