Assuring Quality

We want to assure consistency between assessors

We plan to introduce the role of moderator – someone who would sample some of each category of Fellowship to ensure parity of decisions.

• Proposed criteria: All possible candidates should be in Year 3 of their studies and have had teaching/student support experience

Overview of Proposed Mentoring Arrangements

Liaison with SALT regarding staff changing deadlines and/or between SFHEA and FHEA

Mentors provides dates in line with central support sessions.Hold at least 2 meetings/interactions prior to the application

deadline. Provides Group guidance and support (AF/FHEA. SFHEA may

meet individually)
