DEFINITION OF THE PROJECTIDC-homes

Project: Lawyers’ office buildingClient: Rosa A. Fernandez

Rosa A. Fernandez, a client from Santiago de los Caballeros, wants to start her own lawyers buffet and come to us with the ideal to construct an office building located in Los Jardines, Santiago.

The project has 400 square meters field to work. The client asked for a three floors building, adapted to future changes and an ecological design. The project needs green areas to enhance the visuals, a big lobby, four offices, conference room, and administration. The client has 20 million pesos, 20,000,000 $ R.D. , for the first investment of the project.

Already presented the needs and requirements of the project, such as comfort, interior and exterior spaces, and others, we believe that IDC-homes can easily carry out this project, thanks to our flexible design, but we feel in the need to subcontract the eco-technology. Finally, focused on the economy, we can build this project as a simple building, but fully functional and aesthetic.

DESCRIBING THE PROJECTIDC-homes®

Before you enter the building, you will see a beautiful landscaping work that contains a big and colorful garden, surrounding the whole building with different kinds of flowers and trees in every color and sizes.


The lobby has all the last details of the flooring in a very exotic woodwork, and curtain walls to close the area. Right in front of the entrance, in the middle of the lobby, there is a big electronic panel that gives you all the information you need, and some details about the building. Next to the panel, it’s the waiting area and the secretary assistance.

Once you enter to the first floor, you will contemplate our big lobby that is open to the views of the garden, so you can enjoy the landscaping work from the outside and the inside.

If you take a few more steps to the left, you will access to the stairs for next floor, which is the offices floor. It has the bathrooms in front of the stairs and another waiting area right next to it. Moreover, the whole second floor is full of offices and a kitchenette.

If you continue up the stairs, you will access to the third floor. It's the administration floor, and has a big conference room with beautiful woodwork in the walls and roof, and views with the smart technology panels. The room is designed with special blocks to deals with the acoustic. The third floor also has the offices of the administrators, and a kitchenette.

Finally, we used the roof area, which has the solar panels and the air conditioning machine, to any kind of activity that needs an open space. We will also decorate it with a small garden to clear the views of the machines. We also designed a basement for parking area and warehouse.

Technology within the Project

This Project will use must technology called smart glass, which is employed in information panels found in our loby, so the users can explore the edification without walking on it, and get a brief information of what each floor separately posse.


Also our reception will use this technology, so all you have to do with computer and phone will be used through the glass.


The conference be formed by sound insulating walls in order to avoid unwanted noise from outside the room, as well, to avoid that in this discussion is heard outside.

It also has a lighting that adapts to the use made of the room without using switches, a proper sound system and a big glass screen where you can display and / or present what you want, this will be consist of smart glass also.
