Science Knowledge by Innovative Teaching Techniques
at
Identifying and grooming young minds early in the year.
They are encouraged with strong support from the school
in coordination with their parents.
This parent – school partnership strengthens the learning
bond of the child with the tutor and they invariably
manage to give their very best.
Robotics has been an annual fare at Jamnabai Narsee
School.
A strong interest from the students starting with the
middle school, has been met by a greater emphasis on the
subject by the school management.
Our students have participated at National &
International level, bringing home Gold medals in
recognition of their achievements.
Gyan Manthan is the annual science exhibition for the
ICSE - ISC section of the school from pre-primary to
higher secondary.
For the pre-primary, it is a fun-learning experience and the
enthusiasm is highly visible on their tender faces – every
one of them a potential scientific mind.
The serious manner in which the higher secondary present
their projects to the visitors is an indication of their
dedication to their projects.

Scientist at BARC, currently, Professor
of Technology Management and
Consultant at Singapore lit the lamp of
knowledge, inaugurating the Science
exhibition.
Young Archimedes (Master Yohan
Singh) has our prestigious Chief
Guest fascinated by his spiel on
the principles of floatation.
Primary school students were taken around the school garden, and
assisted in planting of saplings, which were “theirs” – to grow along
with them in the school.
Inculcating values on respecting and protecting our environment for a
better future was best understood through such practical workshops.
A national daily, Hindustan Times organised an in house Robotics
workshop for secondary students. Excellent projects from minds par-
excellence!
National inter-school science exhibition was held at
DAV, Panvel on the topic ENERGY.
JNS students were in the group vying for the trophy on
Conservation of Energy and they did justice to the
confidence and support given to them by their parents and
the school, by winning the trophy at the secondary level.
Expiscor 2012 an inter school science exhibition, attend by well over 40 ICSE schools in Mumbai, as a prestigious event.
JNS students bagged the 2nd place for a project on magnetic levitation together with a project on “projectiles in space”
JNS had an entire week of activities related to spreading knowledge of the role
science plays in our lives.
Visit to the Nehru Science Centre
Science Experiments for std 5, 6 & 7 conducted by Marathi Vidnyan Parishad
young ones on nature’s trail.
This little spark has just turned into a 2 year old, showing
the maturity of an adult and the freedom of thought of a
teenager.
Students from Std. VIII to Std XI belong to this wonderful
community which has enthralled both parents and the school
by their innovative approach to science and education.
Their enthusiasm has been captured on celluloid as well as
on photographs for posterity.
