There are large

animalson the lower deck including

sheep, goats, pigs and ponies and small animals on

the upper deck, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, chinchillas and a

hatchery where you can handle eggs and the children can hold baby

chicks. all our animals are friendly and tackile which enable all ages to

enjoy a unique experience.

We offer an introduction to animals allowing as many children as

possible to go through the bus, an introduction with a

lesson which would be structured to national

curriculum.

Unique Farm Yard ExperienceThe Farmyard Flyers Double Decker bus is a unique experience whos introduction gives a school, event or establishment the opportunity to introduce as many children as possible to the animals in the time allotted. Small groups of children travel through the bus with their staff or carers meeting the animals and learning about them as they go. The staff on board will discuss the animals with the children, talking about things like good animal husbandry, the five animal freedoms, some of the history of the livestock etc. The children will have chance to ask questions and improve their own learning regarding the animals.

The group size is flexible depending on the age and needs of the children. We are able to accommodate mainstream pupils of any age or ability through to pupils with special needs e.g. wheelchair access would be two to three at a time depending on the type of chair the young person uses and lower deck only. For children unable to access the bus at all it is possible to have some of the smaller animals taken in to the school /establishment for them to meet.

The activity is designed to give the children the opportunity to explore and investigate the animals in a way that suits their own specific needs and abilities. They will encounter farm animals on the lower deck and small animals like rabbits, gerbils, chinchillas, hamsters, lizards etc on the upper deck. The animals on the bus may vary according to the needs of the animals themselves but there will always be a large selection of animals for the children to meet.

The Farmyard Flyer is a unique, safe and thoroughly enjoyable way for children to get to know farm animals.

Music improves self discipline, concentration and creativity Musical Melodies is a Music School and is considered the starting point for any student, between the ages of 4 – 8 years, who enjoys music and would like to learn how to read music notation in a fun and friendly environment.

Music improves self discipline, diligence, concentration, memory skills and creativity.A variety of instruments and techniques are used to obtain this goal. Instruments used include: xylophones, glockenspiels, boomwhackers, handbells, recorders, drums, rhythmic instruments, keyboards and many more percussion instruments.

Children are taught by an experienced CRB checked teacher (H.Dip.Ed, ALCM) in a fun and informative way.

There are 5 groups (levels) that a students needs to work through. Each group has a set syllabus which the students must complete before being considered for promotion into the next group.

Students are promoted according to ability and NOT age, therefore it is possible that in every group there will be a variety of ages.

An annual concert is held each year where all the students have the opportunity to perform for their parents and families. This gives parents/guardians a chance to see what their children have learnt.
