at the end of the 16th century

In the 16th century people had to make their own entertainments. They worked many hours without eletric light or any kind of benefit. Someone, when ended his/her shift or when it got dark, went to bed immediately. The time for entertainment was on a Sunday or Saint's day or when there was a great public event. For move trought the city they had to walk 'cause they hadn't public transport. The first line of the tube were inaugurate on the 10th jenuary 1863. In this period sports were very popular and some of them are still played today.For example:

In the 16th century there weren't many opportunities to move confortable. Roads were justdirt track and many people spent many days to repair them. You were lucky if you couldTravel 15-20 kilometers a day.The only means of transport were horses or bicycles. There weren't any type of public transport like buses or underground. The first underground line was inaugurated in 1863Then there were three lines which still exist: the Circle, Hammersmith and Metropolitan lines.
