Mrs. Roussell’s Classroom Newsletter May 16th – May 20th

This Week’s AssignmentsReading –Students will be performing reader’s theater. We will be working on fluency and reading with expression.

Writing – We will continue working on a poetry unit and the students will be writing their very own poetry book.

Math – Students will be working with tangrams and building 3-D shapes out of newspaper.

Science – We have begun our Ecosystem’s Unit and will continue it. Our focus will be food chains, differentiating between the types of consumers, and discussing environmental issues and what we can do to help.

Reminders to Parents

1. Remember to check the blog for new pictures and updates.2. Check your child’s assignment book nightly and ask them about their day at school.
