DESCRIPTION
These are my slides for the Hon Penny Sharpe's first NSW Public Sphere event. I talk about the importance of video as part of an online engagement platform both for politicians and government agencies. There are statistics on how many Australian politicians have a YouTube channel, how many channel/video views we have, I look at the situation in NSW for politicans and government with video, and I point out that there are new open standards and open platforms that can be used.
