1. When did over fishing start?
Over fishing really took off around 1950-1994. The global capture exceeded 95 million tons of fish!
2. What are the effects of over fishing?
Over fishing can endanger and wipe out species of fish. Removing one species will disrupt the entire ecosystem.
3. How did over fishing start? Where?
When fishing technology increased, more fish were getting caught, and if they were not the right kind of fish, they would just be killed.
4. Who caused over fishing?
• China, South America, and Japan have the largest over fishing rates in the world. Each country exceeds 500% of capture!
Over fishing is very bad for our oceans. It affect everyone and everything around us. Unless we stop it, there will be no fish left.
