KEY INSPIRATION • These album covers are inspiration to the album cover I hope to create because, they have a doubled exposure which is compatible with an urban theme.

• Also, it will work well with a cityscape, however I will try and incorporate more of the artist features and more vibrant colour palette.

A SHOOT IN THE PHOTO• When we researched album covers we noticed that a majority were either

head shots or medium shots.

Considering lighting we will conduct a shoot in the photography studio. With the use of lighting we will set it up so the image looks professional. Also we will use a reflector to get a gold under tone to the image to represent the rich African (Ghanaian) culture.

Also, we change the lighting set up to create a grey tone to the image so it will replicate those that we have researched for our case studies, then, when editing the images we can re induce colour back into the image in Photoshop. This will be done by using various effects such as double exposure to create a textured layer image.

A SHOOT ON LOCATION• We also have considered to do a shoot on location for our print ad, or for

the content images to fold out in the image, so the image will look more interesting but yet still relatable to the shoot that we would have conducted in the studio.

• The idea of using a Pano image is effective because it will show all the art of the graffiti, this is effective because it connotes our afro beats genre. Also it will be directly relatable to our target audience

FONT STYLES

CLOTHING The type of clothing that we will ask our artist to wear Is a Modern twist of African traditional clothing.However, it is conventional for British afro beat artist to wear tracksuits and causal wear, this is directly relatable to the target audience of the Song is 15-25 so they typically wouldn’t be expect to see full traditional clothing
