� Formed in 2009 from merger of Department of Primary Industries, State and Regional Development, Energy Division of former Department of Water and Energy

� Partner agencies are Tourism NSW, NSW Food Authority, � Partner agencies are Tourism NSW, NSW Food Authority, Screen NSW, Forests NSW, Rural Assistance Authority, Game Council of NSW and Mine Subsidence Board

� Aims of the Department are to attract investment to NSW and support industries by offering technical expertise and scientific capabilities
