Introduction [edit]

Free and open educational resources have become one of the mostdiscussed topics in the field of education. Projects such as MIT Opencourseware, Open Access, Wikipedia, Wikibooks and Wikimedia Commonshave challenged traditional methods of delivering education resources andalso the methods of creating them.

The free software movements idea of developing free, libre and opensource software, as well as the Creative Commons search for alternativesto traditional copyright, have had an everlasting effect on the ways we thinkabout education and educational resources.

The course readings and the assignments in this course will familiarizeparticipants with the main concepts related to open education resourcesand to the historical and philosophical ideas behind them. The participantswill also do their own projects where they will learn to create andparticipate in projects producing free and open educational resources.

Sosiaalisen oppimisen strategian tarkistuslistaKun organisaatio ottaa sosiaalisen median kattavana oppimisstrategianakäyttöön kuuluu siihen sekä ohjelmistojen käyttöönottoa ettätoimintakulttuurin muutosta. Ja itse käyttöönottoprojekti on luonteeltaanorganisaation laajuinen aloite, joka pitäisi saada toimimaan ja käyttöön.Ensisijaisesta tavoitteesta riippuen projekti voi koskea yhtä ryhmää, kokoorganisaatiota, organisaation partnereita ja toimittajia, sen asiakkaita tailaajaa yleisöä. Mittakaavasta huolimatta menestys vaatii useidennäkökulmien tarkastelua. Tietyssä aloitteessa ei välttämättä tarvitsekäsitellä kaikkia alla lueteltuja asioita, mutta silti olisi hyvä miettiä jokaisenseurauksia ja ongelmia ja tarpeen mukaan kehittää toimintasuunnitelmianiiden varalle.

KulttuuriMitä sen tulisi olla? Mitä se on nyt?

Avoimuus vs. suunnittelu? Missä on tasapainopisteenne?Autonomia ja itseohjautuvuus vs. top-down-käskytys? Missä ontasapainopisteenne?Mitä mieltä johtajat, tärkeät osapuolet ja "rivityöläiset" ovatsosiaalisesta mediasta ja jakamisesta?Mitkä ovat organisaation asenteet läpinäkyvyyden suhteen?Missä määrin oppijat ottavat henkilökohtaisesti vastuutaoppimisestaan?

Lähestymistapa ja menetelmätMinkälaisia sosiaalisen oppimisen malleja tavoittelette? Miten neintegroituvat?
