DEFINITION

LIKE and DISLIKE are words that express how good or not so good we feel about something or performing an action

LIKE is used to express that we enjoy a thing, a person, a place or an action

DISLIKE is used to express that a thing, a person, a place or an action does not make us feel good or happy

To express that we enjoy something, see these examples:

Note: Rember that for the third person of singular we add an “s” to the end of the verb .

NEGATIVE

To form the negative we simply add the auxiliary don’t or doesn’t before the verb “like”. Let see this examples using the auxiliaries:

I don’t like vegetables She doesn’t like cooking pasta

He doesn’t like washing the dishesYou don’t like horror movies

We don’t like cockroachesThey don’t like soup

To make questions we need the auxiliary “do” or “does” at the beggining.Let see the example:
