Assignment
• Make a list of words and images that you associate with war.
• Since we are studying Dada, you are going to design a collagraph that shows the downside of war (they were anti-war because they had recently experienced the horrors of war firsthand).
• Show the truth of war, who war affects, and how it affects the world.– Use symbols to represent these ideas.
Assignment Continued
• This will be a collagraph: collage materials onto a plate, ink it, and print it on paper.
• Look for a variety of textures to use with your symbols.
• Use small, medium, AND large images.• Nothing smack in the middle!
