In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful


الم

[3:1] Alif Lam Mim.


)وم% ال ق(ي ال ح(ي) ه%و( � �ال إ ه( ـ( �ل إ ال 1ه% الل

[3:2] Allah, (there is) no god but He, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all

things subsist


3م(ا ل 4 م%ص(د3قا �ال ح(ق3 ب (اب( �ت ال ك (ي ك( ع(ل ل( (ز� ن�نج�يل( و(اإل اة( �و ر( الت ل( (نز( و(أ (د(ي ه� ي (ي ن( ب

[3:3] He has revealed to you the Book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and He revealed the Tavrat and the Injeel aforetime, a guidance for the people, and He

sent the Furqan.


�ن� إ ق(ان( ال ف%ر ل( (نز( و(أ �اس� 3لن ل ه%د4ى ق(ب ل% م�ن Pد�يد ش( Pع(ذ(اب (ه%م ل 1ه� الل (ات� �آي ب وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( ال

W �ق(ام انت ذ%و Pع(ز�يز 1ه% و(الل

[3:4] Surely they who disbelieve in the communications of Allah they shall have a severe chastisement; and Allah is

Mighty, the Lord of retribution.


ف�ي Pي ء ش( (ي ه� ع(ل (خ ف(ى( ي ) ال 1ه( الل �ن� إم(اء الس� ف�ي ) و(ال ر ض�

) األ

[3:5] Allah-- surely nothing is hidden from Him in the earth or in the heaven.


(ي ف( ك � ح(ام ر ) األ ف�ي %م ك %ص(و3ر% ي �ذ�ي ال ه%و(

ال ح(ك�يم% ال ع(ز�يز% ه%و( � �ال إ ه( ـ( �ل إ ) ال اء (ش( ي

[3:6] He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He likes; there is no god but He, the Mighty, the

Wise

1ه% الل � �ال إ (ه% و�يل(أ ت (م% (ع ل ي و(م(ا �ه� و�يل

(أ ت �غ(اء و(اب تم3ن kل% ك �ه� ب �ا آم(ن %ون( (ق%ول ي � ال ع�ل م ف�ي خ%ون( اس� و(الر�

(اب� األل ب %وا و ل% أ � �ال إ �ر% (ذ�ك ي و(م(ا (ا 3ن ب ر( ع�ند�

[3:7] He it is Who has revealed the Book to you; some of its verses are decisive, they are the basis of the Book, and others are allegorical; then as for those in whose

hearts there is perversity they follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. but none knows its

interpretation except Allah, and those who are firmly rooted in knowledge say: We believe in it, it is all from our Lord; and none do mind except those having

understanding.


(ا (ن ل و(ه(ب (ا (ن ه(د(ي ت �ذ إ (ع د( ب (ا (ن %وب ق%ل %ز�غ ت ) ال (ا �ن ب ر(ال و(ه�اب% (نت( أ �ك( �ن إ ح م(ة4 ر( �د%نك( ل م�ن

[3:8] Our Lord! make not our hearts to deviate after Thou hast guided us aright, and grant us from Thee mercy;

surely Thou art the most liberal Giver.


ي ب( ر( � ال W (و م �ي ل �اس� الن ج(ام�ع% �ك( �ن إ (ا �ن ب ر(ال م�يع(اد( %خ ل�ف% ي ) ال 1ه( الل �ن� إ ف�يه�

[3:9] Our Lord! surely Thou art the Gatherer of men on a day about which there is no doubt;

surely Allah will not fail (His) promise.


%ه%م م و(ال) أ ع(ن ه%م �ي( %غ ن ت (ن ل وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( ال �ن� إ

ه%م �ك( ئ ـ( %ول و(أ 4ا ي ئ ش( 1ه� الل م3ن( (د%ه%م و ال) أ ) و(ال

�ار� الن و(ق%ود%

[3:10] (As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least

against Allah, and these it is who are the fuel of the fire.


%وا (ذ�ب ك �ه�م ق(ب ل م�ن �ذ�ين( و(ال ع(و ن( ف�ر آل� ب�(د(أ ك

د�يد% ش( 1ه% و(الل �ه�م %وب �ذ%ن ب 1ه% الل (خ(ذ(ه%م% ف(أ (ا �ن (ات �آي ب ال ع�ق(اب�

[3:11] Like the striving of the people of Firon and those before them; they rejected Our communications, so Allah destroyed

them on account of their faults; and Allah is severe in requiting (evil).


%ون( (ب %غ ل ت س( وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( 3ل ل ق%لال م�ه(اد% �ئ س( و(ب �م( ج(ه(ن �ل(ى إ ون( ر% %ح ش( و(ت

[3:12] Say to those who disbelieve: You shall be vanquished, and driven together to hell; and evil

is the resting-place.

أ ر( (ي ه�م م3ث ل (ه%م و ن (ر( ية4 (ع�ب ر( ل �ك( ذ(ل ف�ي �ن� إ اء (ش( ي م(ن (ص ر�ه� �ن ب

(ب ص(ار� األ و ل�ي% أل�

[3:13] Indeed there was a sign for you in the two hosts (which) met together in encounter; one party fighting in the way of Allah and the other unbelieving, whom they saw twice as many as themselves with

the sight of the eye and Allah strengthens with His aid whom He pleases; most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have sight.


�ين( (ن و(ال ب اء 3س( الن م�ن( ه(و(ات� الش� ح%ب) �اس� �لن ل 3ن( ي ز%و(ال ف�ض�ة� الذ�ه(ب� م�ن( ة� ال م%ق(نط(ر( (اط�ير� و(ال ق(ن�ك( ذ(ل ث� و(ال ح(ر � (ن ع(ام و(األ و�م(ة� ال م%س( ي ل� و(ال خ(

ال م(آب� ن% ح%س ع�ند(ه% 1ه% و(الل (ا الد)ن ي (اة� ي ال ح( (اع% م(ت

[3:14] The love of desires, of women and sons and hoarded treasures of gold and silver and well bred horses and cattle and tilth, is made to seem fair to men; this is the provision of the life of this world; and Allah is He with Whom is the

good goal (of life).


�ق(و ا ات �ذ�ين( �ل ل %م �ك ذ(ل م3ن Wي ر �خ( ب %م %ك 3ئ (ب (ؤ%ن أ ق%ل �ه(ا ت (ح ت م�ن (ج ر�ي ت Pات� ن ج( 3ه�م ب ر( ع�ند(

Pة م)ط(ه�ر( Pو(اج (ز و(أ ف�يه(ا �د�ين( ال خ( ن ه(ار%) األ

(اد� �ال ع�ب ب Pص�ير) ب 1ه% و(الل 1ه� الل م3ن( Pو(ر�ض و(ان

[3:15] Say:Shall}I tell you what is better than these? For those who guard (against evil) are gardens with their

Lord, beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and pure mates and Allah's pleasure; and Allah sees the

servants.


(ا (ن ل ف(اغ ف�ر �ا آم(ن (ا �ن �ن إ (ا �ن ب ر( %ون( (ق%ول ي �ذ�ين( ال�ار� الن ع(ذ(اب( (ا و(ق�ن (ا (ن %وب ذ%ن

[3:16] Those who say: Our Lord! surely we believe, therefore forgive us our faults and save us from

the chastisement of the fire.


�ين( �ت و(ال ق(ان و(الص�اد�ق�ين( �ر�ين( الص�ابار� ح( (س �األ ب (غ ف�ر�ين( ت و(ال م%س و(ال م%نف�ق�ين(

[3:17] The patient, and the truthful, and the obedient, and those who spend (benevolently) and those who ask forgiveness in the morning

times.


(ة% �ك (ئ و(ال م(ال ه%و( � �ال إ ه( ـ( �ل إ ) ال �ه% ن) أ 1ه% الل ه�د( ش(

ه( ـ( �ل إ ) ال �ال ق�س ط� ب 4 �م(ا ق(آئ � ال ع�ل م %وا و ل% و(أ

ال ح(ك�يم% ال ع(ز�يز% ه%و( � �ال إ

[3:18] Allah bears witness that there is no god but He, and (so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge, maintaining His creation with justice;

there is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise.


(ل(ف( ت اخ و(م(ا (م% ال �س اإل 1ه� الل ع�ند( الد3ين( �ن� إج(اءه%م% م(ا (ع د� ب م�ن � �ال إ (اب( �ت ال ك %وا و ت

% أ �ذ�ين( ال1ه� الل (ات� �آي ب (ك ف%ر ي و(م(ن (ه%م (ي ن ب 4ا (غ ي ب ال ع�ل م%

اب� ال ح�س( ر�يع% س( 1ه� الل �ن� ف(إ

[3:19] Surely the (true) religion with Allah is Islam, and those to whom the Book had been given did not show opposition but after knowledge had come to them, out of envy among

themselves; and whoever disbelieves in the communications of Allah then surely Allah is quick in reckoning.

(اب( �ت ال ك %وا و ت% أ �ذ�ين( 3ل ل و(ق%ل (ع(ن� �ب ات و(م(ن�

ف(ق(د� (م%وا ل س ) أ �ن ف(إ %م (م ت ل س

) (أ أ 3ين( %م3ي و(األ(غ% (ال ال ب (ي ك( ع(ل �م(ا �ن ف(إ �و ا (و(ل ت �ن و�إ (د(وا اه ت

(اد� �ال ع�ب ب Pص�ير) ب 1ه% و(الل

[3:20] But if they dispute with you, say: I have submitted myself entirely to Allah and (so) every one who follows me; and say to

those who have been given the Book and the unlearned people: Do you submit yourselves? So if they submit then indeed they follow

the right way; and if they turn back, then upon you is only the delivery of the message and Allah sees the servants.


%ون( %ل (ق ت و(ي 1ه� الل (ات� �آي ب ون( (ك ف%ر% ي �ذ�ين( ال �ن� إ3ذ�ين( ال %ل%ون( (ق ت و(ي ح(ق� �غ(ي ر� ب 3ين( �ي �ب الن

ه%م ر (ش3 ف(ب �اس� الن م�ن( �ال ق�س ط� ب ون( م%ر%(أ ي

W �يم (ل أ Wع(ذ(اب� ب

[3:21] Surely (as for) those who disbelieve in the communications of Allah and slay the prophets

unjustly and slay those among men who enjoin justice, announce to them a painful chastisement.


ف�ي %ه%م (ع م(ال أ �ط(ت ب ح( �ذ�ين( ال �ك( ئ ـ( %ول أ�اص�ر�ين( ن م3ن (ه%م ل و(م(ا ة� و(اآلخ�ر( (ا الد)ن ي

[3:22] Those are they whose works shall become null in this world as well as the hereafter, and

they shall have no helpers.


م3ن( 4ا (ص�يب ن %وا و ت% أ �ذ�ين( ال �ل(ى إ (ر( ت (م (ل أ

1ه� الل (اب� �ت ك �ل(ى إ %د ع(و ن( ي (اب� �ت ال كم3ن ه%م Pف(ر�يق (و(ل�ى (ت ي %م� ث (ه%م (ي ن ب %م( (ح ك �ي ل

م)ع ر�ض%ون( و(ه%م

[3:23] Have you not considered those (Jews) who are given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah that it might decide between

them, then a part of them turn back and they withdraw.


� �ال إ �ار% الن (ا ن (م(س� ت (ن ل %وا ق(ال �ه%م ن) �أ ب �ك( ذ(ل

م�ا �ه�م د�ين ف�ي ه%م و(غ(ر� Wم�ع د%ود(ات �ام4ا (ي أون( (ر% (ف ت ي %وا (ان ك

[3:24] This is because they say: The fire shall not touch us but for a few days; and what they have

forged deceives them in the matter of their religion.


ف�يه� ي ب( ر( � ال W (و م �ي ل (اه%م ج(م(ع ن �ذ(ا إ (ي ف( ف(ك ) ال و(ه%م (ت ب (س( ك م�ا Wف س) ن %ل) ك (ت و(و%ف3ي

(م%ون( %ظ ل ي

[3:25] Then how will it be when We shall gather them together on a day about which there is no

doubt, and every soul shall be fully paid what it has earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly?


م(ن ال م%ل ك( �ي %ؤ ت ت ال م%ل ك� �ك( م(ال �ه%م� الل ق%ل�م(ن %ع�ز) و(ت اء (ش( ت م�م�ن ال م%ل ك( (نز�ع% و(ت اء (ش( ت�ك( �ن إ ي ر% ال خ( (د�ك( �ي ب اء (ش( ت م(ن %ذ�ل) و(ت اء (ش( ت

Pق(د�ير Wي ء ش( %ل3 ك ع(ل(ى(

[3:26] Say: O Allah, Master of the Kingdom! Thou givest the kingdom to whomsoever Thou pleasest and takest away the

kingdom from whomsoever Thou pleasest, and Thou exaltest whom Thou pleasest and abasest whom Thou pleasest in Thine hand is the good; surety, Thou hast power over all

things.


ف�ي �ه(ار( الن �ج% %ول و(ت �ه(ار� ال ن ف�ي �ي ل( الل �ج% %ول ت%خ ر�ج% و(ت 3ت� ال م(ي م�ن( ال ح(ي� %خ ر�ج% و(ت �ي ل� الل

اء (ش( ت م(ن ق% ز% (ر و(ت ال ح(ي3 م�ن( �ت( (م(ي ال Wاب ح�س( �غ(ي ر� ب

[3:27] Thou makest the night to pass into the day and Thou makest the day to pass into the night, and Thou

bringest forth the living from the dead and Thou bringest forth the dead from the living, and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest without

measure.


م�ن (اء �ي و ل) أ (اف�ر�ين( ال ك %ون( ال م%ؤ م�ن �خ�ذ� (ت ي � ال

(ي س( ف(ل �ك( ذ(ل (ف ع(ل ي و(م(ن �ين( ال م%ؤ م�ن د%و ن�م�ن ه%م �ق%وا (ت ت (ن أ � �ال إ Wء ي ش( ف�ي 1ه� الل م�ن(1ه� الل �ل(ى و(إ ه% (ف س( ن 1ه% الل %م% ك %ح(ذ3ر% و(ي %ق(اة4 ت

ال م(ص�ير%

[3:28] Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you

should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution

from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming.

Pق(د�ير

[3:29] Say: Whether you hide what is in your hearts or manifest it, Allah knows it, and He knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and Allah

has power over all things.


Wي ر خ( م�ن ع(م�ل(ت م�ا Wف س) ن %ل) ك (ج�د% ت (و م( ي(ن� أ (و ل (و(د) ت Wو(ء س% م�ن ع(م�ل(ت و(م(ا ا م)ح ض(ر4

1ه% الل %م% ك %ح(ذ3ر% و(ي (ع�يد4ا ب م(د4ا) أ (ه% (ي ن و(ب (ه(ا (ي ن ب

(اد� �ال ع�ب ب ؤ%وف% ر( 1ه% و(الل ه% (ف س( ن

[3:30] On the day that every soul shall find present what it has done of good and what it has done of evil, it shall wish that between it and that (evil) there were a long duration of

time; and Allah makes you to be cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and Allah is Compassionate to the servants.


�ع%ون�ي �ب ف(ات 1ه( الل )ون( ب %ح� ت %م %نت ك �ن إ ق%ل %م (ك %وب ذ%ن %م (ك ل (غ ف�ر و(ي 1ه% الل %م% �ب ك ب %ح ي

Pح�يم ر� Pغ(ف%ور 1ه% و(الل

[3:31] Say: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your faults,

and Allah is Forgiving, MercifuL


�و ا (و(ل ت �ن فإ س%ول( و(الر� 1ه( الل (ط�يع%وا أ ق%ل (اف�ر�ين( ال ك %ح�ب) ي ) ال 1ه( الل �ن� ف(إ

[3:32] Say: Obey Allah and the Messenger; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love

the unbelievers.


و(آل( %وح4ا و(ن آد(م( اص ط(ف(ى 1ه( الل �ن� إ(م�ين( ال ع(ال ع(ل(ى ان( ع�م ر( و(آل( اه�يم( �ب ر( إ

[3:33] Surely Allah chose Adam and Nuh and the descendants of Ibrahim and the descendants of

Imran above the nations.


Pم�يع س( 1ه% و(الل Wع ض) ب م�ن (ع ض%ه(ا ب �ة4 ي ذ%ر3Pيم� ع(ل

[3:34] Offspring one of the other; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.


3ي �ن إ ب3 ر( ان( ع�م ر( (ة% أ ام ر( ق(ال(ت� �ذ إا ر4 م%ح(ر� �ي (ط ن ب ف�ي م(ا ل(ك( ت% (ذ(ر ن

�يم% ال ع(ل م�يع% الس� (نت( أ �ك( �ن إ 3ي م�ن �ل (ق(ب ف(ت

[3:35] When a woman of Imran said: My Lord! surely I vow to Thee what is in my womb, to be devoted (to Thy service); accept therefore from me, surely Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing.


%ه(ا و(ض(ع ت 3ي �ن إ ب3 ر( ق(ال(ت و(ض(ع(ت ه(ا (م�ا ف(ل(ي س( و(ل و(ض(ع(ت �م(ا ب (م% (ع ل أ 1ه% و(الل (ى %نث أ(م( ي م(ر %ه(ا م�ي ت س( 3ي �ن و(إ (ى %نث (األ ك (ر% الذ�ك

ي ط(ان� الش� م�ن( (ه(ا �ت ي و(ذ%ر3 �ك( ب %ع�يذ%ه(ا أ 3ي �ن و�إ� ج�يم الر�

[3:36] So when she brought forth, she said: My Lord! Surely I have brought it forth a female-- and Allah knew best what she brought forth-- and the male is not like the female, and I have named it Marium, and I commend her and her offspring into Thy protection from the accursed

Shaitan.


4ا (ات (ب ن (ه(ا (ت نب) و(أ Wح(س(ن Wول% �ق(ب ب )ه(ا ب ر( (ه(ا �ل (ق(ب ف(ت

(ي ه(ا ع(ل د(خ(ل( �م(ا %ل ك �ا (ر�ي ك ز( (ه(ا (ف�ل و(ك 4ا ن ح(س((ا ي ق(ال( 4 قا ر�ز ع�ند(ه(ا و(ج(د( اب( ال م�ح ر( �ا (ر�ي ك ز(

ع�ند� م�ن ه%و( ق(ال(ت ذ(ا هـ( (ك� ل �ى (ن أ (م% ي م(ر Wاب ح�س( �غ(ي ر� ب اء (ش( ي م(ن ق% ز% (ر ي 1ه( الل إن� 1ه� الل

[3:37] So her Lord accepted her with a good acceptance and made her grow up a good growing, and gave her into the

charge of Zakariya; whenever Zakariya entered the sanctuary to (see) her, he found with her food. He said: O Marium! whence comes this to you? She said: It is from Allah. Surely Allah gives to whom He pleases without

measure.


ه(ب ب3 ر( ق(ال( �ه% ب ر( �ا (ر�ي ك ز( د(ع(ا �ك( (ال ه%نم�يع% س( �ك( �ن إ (ة4 3ب ط(ي �ة4 ي ذ%ر3 �د%ن ك( ل م�ن ل�ي

الد)ع(اء

[3:38] There did Zakariya pray to his Lord; he said: My Lord! grant me from Thee good offspring;

surely Thou art the Hearer of prayer.


ف�ي %ص(ل3ي ي Pم� ق(ائ و(ه%و( (ة% �ك ال م(آلئ (اد(ت ه% ف(نى (ح يـ( �ي ب ك( ر% (ش3 %ب ي 1ه( الل (ن� أ اب� ال م�ح ر(

3د4ا ي و(س( 1ه� الل م3ن( Wم(ة� (ل �ك ب م%ص(د3ق4ا�ح�ين( الص�ال م3ن( �ا �ي (ب و(ن ا و(ح(ص%ور4

[3:39] Then the angels called to him as he stood praying in the sanctuary: That Allah gives you the good news of Yahya verifying a Word from Allah,

and honorable and chaste and a prophet from among the good ones.


�ي( (غ(ن (ل ب و(ق(د Pم) غ%ال ل�ي %ون% (ك ي �ى( (ن أ ب3 ر( ق(ال(1ه% الل �ك( (ذ(ل ك ق(ال( Pع(اق�ر �ي (ت أ و(ام ر( (ر% �ب ال ك

اء (ش( ي م(ا (ف ع(ل% ي

[3:40] He said: My Lord! when shall there be a son (born) to me, and old age has already come upon me, and my wife is barren? He said: even thus does Allah

what He pleases.


� (ال أ %ك( (ت آي ق(ال( (ة4 آي 3ي( ل اج ع(ل ب3 ر( ق(ال(ا م ز4 ر( � �ال إ W �ام (ي أ (ة( (ث (ال ث �اس( الن 3م( (ل %ك ت

ي3 �ال ع(ش� ب 3ح ب و(س( 4 �يرا (ث ك �ك( ب ر� %ر و(اذ ك(ار� �ب ك و(اإل

[3:41] He said: My Lord! appoint a sign for me. Said He: Your sign is that you should not speak to men for three days except by signs; and remember your Lord much and glorify Him in the evening and the

morning.


1ه( الل �ن� إ (م% ي م(ر (ا ي (ة% �ك (ئ ال م(ال ق(ال(ت� �ذ و(إع(ل(ى و(اص ط(ف(اك� ك� و(ط(ه�ر( اص ط(ف(اك�

(م�ين( ال ع(ال اء �س( ن

[3:42] And when the angels said: O Marium! surely Allah has chosen you and purified you and

chosen you above the women of of the world.


ج%د�ي و(اس 3ك� ب �ر( ل �ي %ت اق ن (م% ي م(ر (ا ي�ع�ين( اك الر� م(ع( (ع�ي ك و(ار

[3:43] O Marium! keep to obedience to your Lord and humble yourself, and bow down with those

who bow.


و(م(ا (يك( �ل إ %وح�يه� ن ال غ(ي ب� (اء (نب أ م�ن �ك( ذ(ل)ه%م ي

) أ (م(ه%م (ق ال أ %ل ق%ون ي �ذ إ (د(ي ه�م ل %نت( ك�ذ إ (د(ي ه�م ل %نت( ك و(م(ا (م( ي م(ر (ك ف%ل% ي

(ص�م%ون( ت (خ ي

[3:44] This is of the announcements relating to the unseen which We reveal to you; and you were not

with them when they cast their pens (to decide) which of them should have Marium in his charge, and you were not with them when they contended one with

another.


1ه( الل �ن� إ (م% ي م(ر (ا ي (ة% �ك ال م(آلئ ق(ال(ت� �ذ إيح% ال م(س� م%ه% اس م3ن ه% Wم(ة� (ل �ك ب ك� ر% (ش3 %ب ي(ا الد)ن ي ف�ي و(ج�يه4ا (م( ي م(ر اب ن% ع�يس(ى

�ين( ب ال م%ق(ر� و(م�ن( ة� و(اآلخ�ر(

[3:45] When the angels said: O Marium, surely Allah gives you good news with a Word from Him (of

one) whose name is the '. Messiah, Isa son of Marium, worthy of regard in this world and the

hereafter and of those who are made near (to Allah).


و(م�ن( 4 (ه ال و(ك ال م(ه د� ف�ي �اس( الن 3م% (ل %ك و(ي�ح�ين( الص�ال

[3:46] And he shall speak to the people when in the cradle and when of old age, and (he shall be) one

of the good ones.


(م و(ل Pد) و(ل ل�ي %ون% (ك ي �ى (ن أ ب3 ر( ق(ال(ت 1ه% الل �ك� (ذ(ل ك ق(ال( Pر (ش( ب �ي ن (م س(س ي

�م(ا �ن ف(إ ا م ر4) أ ق(ض(ى �ذ(ا إ اء (ش( ي م(ا (خ ل%ق% ي

%ون% (ك ف(ي %ن ك (ه% ل (ق%ول% ي

[3:47] She said: My Lord! when shall there be a son (born) to I me, and man has not touched me? He

said: Even so, Allah creates what He pleases; when He has decreed a matter, He only says to it,

Be, and it is.


اة( �و ر( و(الت و(ال ح�ك م(ة( (اب( �ت ال ك 3م%ه% %ع(ل و(ي�نج�يل( و(اإل

[3:48] And He will teach him the Book and the wisdom and the Tavrat and the Injeel.


Wة) �آي ب %م %ك ئ ت ج� ق(د 3ي (ن أ �يل( ائ ر( �س إ �ي (ن ب �ل(ى إ 4 وال س% و(ر((ة� (ه(ي ئ ك الط3ين� م3ن( %م (ك ل (خ ل%ق% أ 3ي (ن أ %م 3ك ب ر� م3ن1ه� الل �ذ ن� �إ ب ا ط(ي ر4 %ون% (ك ف(ي ف�يه� (نف%خ% ف(أ الط�ي ر�(ى ال م(و ت ي ـ� ح ي

% و(أ ب ر(ص() واأل األك م(ه( ب ر�ئ%

% و(أون( (د�خ�ر% ت و(م(ا %ل%ون( (أ ك ت �م(ا ب %م %ك 3ئ (ب %ن و(أ 1ه� الل �ذ ن� �إ ب%م %نت ك �ن إ %م �ك ل (ة4 آلي ذ(ل�ك( ف�ي �ن� إ %م �ك %وت %ي ب ف�ي

�ين( م)ؤ م�ن

[3:49] And (make him) a messenger to the children of Israel: That I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I determine for you out of dust like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird with Allah's permission and

I heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah's permission and I inform you of what you should eat and what you should store in

your houses; most surely there is a sign in this for you, if you are believers.


اة� �و ر( الت م�ن( (د(ي� ي (ي ن( ب 3م(ا ل و(م%ص(د3ق4ا%م (ي ك ع(ل م( ح%ر3 �ذ�ي ال (ع ض( ب %م (ك ل %ح�ل� و(أل�1ه( الل �ق%وا ف(ات %م 3ك ب ر� م3ن Wة) �آي ب %م %ك ئ ت و(ج�

(ط�يع%ون� و(أ

[3:50] And a verifier of that which is before me of the Taurat and that I may allow you part of that

which has been forbidden to you, and I have come to you with a sign from your Lord therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah and obey me.


ذ(ا هـ( %د%وه% ف(اع ب %م )ك ب و(ر( 3ي ب ر( 1ه( الل �ن� إ Pق�يم) ت م)س Pاط ص�ر(

[3:51] Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore serve Him; this is the right path.


ق(ال( %ف ر( ال ك م�ن ه%م% ع�يس(ى (ح(س� أ (م�ا ف(لق(ال( 1ه� الل �ل(ى إ (نص(ار�ي أ م(ن

�ا آم(ن 1ه� الل (نص(ار% أ (ح ن% ن )ون( ال ح(و(ار�ي�م%ون( ل م%س �ا (ن �أ ب ه(د و(اش 1ه� �الل ب

[3:52] But when Isa perceived unbelief on their part, he said Who will be my helpers in Allah's way?

The disciples said: We are helpers (in the way) of Allah: We believe in Allah and bear witness that

we are submitting ones.


ول( س% الر� (ا (ع ن �ب و(ات ل(ت (نز( أ �م(ا ب �ا آم(ن (ا �ن ب ر(اه�د�ين( الش� م(ع( (ا %ب ن ف(اك ت

[3:53] Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed and we follow the messenger, so write

us down with those who bear witness.


ي ر% خ( 1ه% و(الل 1ه% الل (ر( و(م(ك وا (ر% و(م(ك�ر�ين( ال م(اك

[3:54] And they planned and Allah (also) planned, and Allah is the best of planners.


(و(ف3يك( م%ت 3ي �ن إ ع�يس(ى (ا ي 1ه% الل ق(ال( �ذ إوا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( ال م�ن( ك( و(م%ط(ه3ر% (ي� �ل إ اف�ع%ك( و(ر(وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( ال ف(و ق( (ع%وك( �ب ات �ذ�ين( ال و(ج(اع�ل%

%م ج�ع%ك م(ر (ي� �ل إ %م� ث (ام(ة� ال ق�ي � (و م ي �ل(ى إ�ف%ون( (ل ت (خ ت ف�يه� %م %نت ك ف�يم(ا %م (ك (ي ن ب %م% ح ك

) ف(أ

[3:55] And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going to terminate the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you

differed.


4ا ع(ذ(اب %ه%م %ع(ذ3ب ف(أ وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( ال م�ا) ف(أ

(ه%م ل و(م(ا ة� و(اآلخ�ر( (ا الد)ن ي ف�ي د�يد4ا ش(�اص�ر�ين( ن م3ن

[3:56] Then as to those who disbelieve, I will chastise them with severe chastisement in this world and the

hereafter, and they shall have no helpers.


�ح(ات� الص�ال %وا و(ع(م�ل %وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال م�ا) و(أ

%ح�ب) ي ) ال 1ه% و(الل ه%م %ج%ور( أ %و(ف3يه�م ف(ي�م�ين( الظ�ال

[3:57] And as to those who believe and do good deeds, He will pay them fully their rewards; and

Allah does not love the unjust.


و(الذ3ك ر� (ات� اآلي م�ن( (ي ك( ع(ل %وه% (ت ل ن �ك( ذ(ل

� ال ح(ك�يم

[3:58] This We recite to you of the communications and the wise reminder.


آد(م( (ل� (م(ث ك 1ه� الل ع�ند( ع�يس(ى (ل( م(ث �ن� إك%ن (ه% ل ق(ال( �م� ث Wاب %ر( ت م�ن (ق(ه% ل خ(

%ون% (ك ف(ي

[3:59] Surely the likeness of Isa is with Allah as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then

said to him, Be, and he was.


م3ن (ك%ن ت ) ف(ال 3ك( ب ر� م�ن ال ح(ق)(ر�ين( ال م%م ت

[3:60] (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of the disputers.


م�ن( ج(اءك( م(ا (ع د� ب م�ن ف�يه� ح(آج�ك( ف(م(ن %م (اءك (ب ن و(أ (ا (اءن (ب ن أ (د ع% ن (و ا (ع(ال ت ف(ق%ل � ال ع�ل م%م ك (نف%س( وأ (ا ن (نف%س( و(أ %م اءك �س( و(ن (ا اءن �س( و(ن

ع(ل(ى 1ه� الل (ة% �ع ن ل (ج ع(ل ف(ن (ه�ل (ب ت ن %م� ث�ين( (اذ�ب ال ك

[3:61] But whoever disputes with you in this matter after what has come to you of knowledge, then say: Come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and our near people and your near people, then

let us be earnest in prayer, and pray for the curse of Allah on the liars.


م�ن و(م(ا ال ح(ق) ال ق(ص(ص% (ه%و( ل ذ(ا هـ( �ن� إال ع(ز�يز% (ه%و( ل 1ه( الل �ن� و(إ 1ه% الل � �ال إ Wه ـ( �ل إ

ال ح(ك�يم%

[3:62] Most surely this is the true explanation, and there is no god but Allah; and most surely Allah--

He is the Mighty, the Wise.


د�ين( �ال م%ف س� ب Pيم� ع(ل 1ه( الل �ن� ف(إ �و ا (و(ل ت �ن ف(إ

[3:63] But if they turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers.


Wم(ة) (ل ك �ل(ى إ (و ا (ع(ال ت (اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل( أ (ا ي ق%ل ) و(ال 1ه( الل � �ال إ %د( (ع ب ن � ال

) أ %م (ك (ي ن و(ب (ا (ن (ي ن ب و(اء س( 4 (ع ضا ب (ا (ع ض%ن ب �خ�ذ( (ت ي ) و(ال 4ا ي ئ ش( �ه� ب ر�ك( %ش ن%وا ف(ق%ول �و ا (و(ل ت �ن ف(إ 1ه� الل د%ون� م3ن 4ا (اب ب ر

) أ�م%ون( ل م%س �ا (ن �أ ب ه(د%وا اش

[3:64] Say: O followers of the Book! come to an equitable proposition between us and you that we shall not serve any but Allah and (that) we shall not associate aught

with Him, and (that) some of us shall not take others for lords besides Allah; but if they turn back, then say: Bear

witness that we are Muslims.


ف�ي %ح(آج)ون( ت �م( ل (اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل( أ (ا ياة% �ور( الت %نز�ل(ت� أ و(م(ا اه�يم( �ب ر( إ

%ون( (ع ق�ل ت ) (ف(ال أ (ع د�ه� ب م�ن � �ال إ و(اإلنج�يل%

[3:65] O followers of the Book! why do you dispute about Ibrahim, when the Taurat and the

Injeel were not revealed till after him; do you not then understand?


�ه� ب %م (ك ل ف�يم(ا %م ت ح(اج(ج ه(ؤ%الء %م (نت ه(اأ(ك%م ل (ي س( ل ف�يم(ا %ح(آج)ون( ت �م( ف(ل Pع�لم

(م%ون( (ع ل ت ) ال %م (نت و(أ (م% (ع ل ي 1ه% و(الل Pل م ع� �ه� ب

[3:66] Behold! you are they who disputed about that of which you had knowledge; why then do

you dispute about that of which you have no knowledge? And Allah knows while you do not

know.


�ا �ي ان (ص ر( ن ) و(ال �ا (ه%ود�ي ي اه�يم% �ب ر( إ (ان( ك م(ا(ان( ك و(م(ا �م4ا ل م)س �يف4ا ن ح( (ان( ك (ك�ن و(ل

�ين( ر�ك ال م%ش م�ن(

[3:67] Ibrahim was not a Jew nor a Christian but he was (an) upright (man), a Muslim, and he was not

one of the polytheists.


(ع%وه% �ب ات �ذ�ين( (ل ل اه�يم( �ب ر( �إ ب �اس� الن و ل(ى) أ �ن� إ

�ي) و(ل 1ه% و(الل %وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( و(ال �ي) �ب الن ذ(ا و(هـ(�ين( ال م%ؤ م�ن

[3:68] Most surely the nearest of people to Ibrahim are those who followed him and this Prophet and those

who believe and Allah is the guardian of the believers.


(و ل (اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل� أ م3ن Pف(ة� ط�آئ و(د�ته%م (نف%س( أ � �ال إ %ض�ل)ون( ي و(م(ا %م (ك )ون %ض�ل ي

ون( ع%ر% (ش ي و(م(ا

[3:69] A party of the followers of the Book desire that they should lead you astray, and they lead not astray but themselves, and they do not perceive.


(ات� �آي ب ون( (ك ف%ر% ت �م( ل (اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل( أ (ا يه(د%ون( (ش ت %م (نت و(أ 1ه� الل

[3:70] O followers of the Book! Why do you disbelieve in the communications of Allah while

you witness (them)?


ال ح(ق� �س%ون( (ل ب ت �م( ل (اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل( أ (ا ي%م (نت و(أ ال ح(ق� %م%ون( (ك ت و(ت (اط�ل� �ال ب ب

(م%ون( (ع ل ت

[3:71] O followers of the Book! Why do you confound the truth with the falsehood and hide

the truth while you know?


%وا آم�ن (اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل� أ م3ن Pف(ة� ط�آئ و(ق(ال(ته( و(ج %وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال ع(ل(ى %نز�ل( أ �ذ�ي( �ال ب

ج�ع%ون( (ر ي �ه%م (ع(ل ل ه% آخ�ر( وا و(اك ف%ر% �ه(ار� الن

[3:72] And a party of the followers of the Book say: Avow belief in that which has been revealed to

those who believe, in the first part of the day, and disbelieve at the end of it, perhaps they go back on

their religion.


�ن� إ ق%ل %م (ك د�ين �ع( (ب ت �م(ن ل � �ال إ %وا %ؤ م�ن ت ) و(الم(ا م3ث ل( Pح(د) أ (ى %ؤ ت ي (ن أ 1ه� الل ه%د(ى ال ه%د(ى�ن� إ ق%ل %م 3ك ب ر( ع�ند( %م %ح(آج)وك ي و

) أ %م �يت %وت أ1ه% و(الل اء (ش( ي م(ن �يه� %ؤ ت ي 1ه� الل (د� �ي ب ال ف(ض ل(

Pيم� ع(ل Pع و(اس�

[3:73] And do not believe but in him who follows your religion. Say: Surely the (true) guidance is the guidance of Allah-- that one may be given (by Him) the like of what you were given; or they would contend with you by an argument before your Lord. Say: Surely grace is in the

hand of Allah, He gives it to whom He pleases; and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing.


ذ%و 1ه% و(الل اء (ش( ي م(ن �ه� ح م(ت �ر( ب (ص) (خ ت ي � ال ع(ظ�يم ال ف(ض ل�

[3:74] He specially chooses for His mercy whom He pleases; and Allah is the Lord of mighty

grace.


%ؤ(د3ه� ي Wق�نط(ار� ب م(ن ه%(أ ت �ن إ م(ن (اب� ال ك�ت (ه ل� أ و(م�ن

%ؤ(د3ه� ي � ال Wار) �د�ين ب م(ن ه%(أ ت �ن إ م�ن و(م�ن ه%م (ي ك( �ل إ

�ه%م ن) �أ ب �ك( ذ(ل �م4ا ق(آئ (ي ه� ع(ل د%م ت( م(ا � �ال إ (ي ك( �ل إ

Pيل� ب س( 3ين( %م3ي األ ف�ي (ا (ي ن ع(ل (ي س( ل %وا ق(ال(م%ون( (ع ل ي و(ه%م (ذ�ب( ال ك 1ه� الل ع(ل(ى %ون( (ق%ول و(ي

[3:75] And among the followers of the Book there are some such that if you entrust one (of them) with a heap of wealth, he shall pay it

back to you; and among them there are some such that if you entrust one (of them) with a dinar he shall not pay it back to you

except so long as you remain firm in demanding it; this is because they say: There is not upon us in the matter of the unlearned

people any way (to reproach); and they tell a lie against Allah while they know.


�ع(ه د� ب و ف(ى) أ م(ن (ل(ى ب

�ق�ين( ال م%ت %ح�ب) ي 1ه( الل �ن� ف(إ �ق(ى و(ات ه�

[3:76] Yea, whoever fulfills his promise and guards (against evil)-- then surely Allah loves those who

guard (against evil).


�ه�م ي م(ان) و(أ 1ه� الل �ع(ه د� ب ون( (ر% ت (ش ي �ذ�ين( ال �ن� إ

ف�ي (ه%م ل (ق( خ(ال ) ال �ك( ئ ـ( و ل% أ 4 �يال ق(ل 4ا (م(ن ث

(ي ه�م �ل إ (نظ%ر% ي ) و(ال 1ه% الل 3م%ه%م% (ل %ك ي ) و(ال ة� اآلخ�ر( Pع(ذ(اب (ه%م و(ل 3يه�م ك %ز( ي ) و(ال (ام(ة� ال ق�ي (و م( ي

Pيم� (ل أ

[3:77] (As for) those who take a small price for the covenant of Allah and their own oaths-- surely they shall have no portion in the hereafter, and Allah will not speak

to them, nor will He look upon them on the day of resurrection nor will He purify them, and they shall have

a painful chastisement.


(ه%م (ت ن (ل س� أ (ل و%ون( ي (ف(ر�يق4ا ل م�ن ه%م �ن� و(إه%و( و(م(ا (اب� �ت ال ك م�ن( %وه% ب (ح س( �ت ل (اب� �ت �ال ك ب1ه� الل ع�ند� م�ن ه%و( %ون( (ق%ول و(ي (اب� �ت ال ك م�ن(

1ه� الل ع(ل(ى %ون( (ق%ول و(ي 1ه� الل ع�ند� م�ن ه%و( و(م(ا(م%ون( (ع ل ي و(ه%م (ذ�ب( ال ك

[3:78] Most surely there is a party amongst those who distort the Book with their tongue that you may consider it to be (a part) of the Book, and they say, It is from Allah, while it is not from Allah, and they tell a lie against Allah whilst

they know.


(اب( �ت ال ك 1ه% الل (ه% �ي %ؤ ت ي (ن أ Wر (ش( �ب ل (ان( ك م(ا%وا %ون ك �اس� �لن ل (ق%ول( ي %م� ث %و�ة( )ب و(الن و(ال ح%ك م(%وا %ون ك ك�ن ـ( و(ل 1ه� الل د%ون� م�ن ل3ي (اد4ا ب ع�

�م(ا و(ب (اب( �ت ال ك 3م%ون( %ع(ل ت %م %نت ك �م(ا ب 3ين( �ي �ان ب ر(ون( س% (د ر% ت %م %نت ك

[3:79] It is not meet for a mortal that Allah should give him the Book and the wisdom and prophethood, then he

should say to men: Be my servants rather than Allah's; but rather (he would say): Be worshippers of the Lord because of your teaching the Book and your reading (it

yourselves).


3ي ن( �ي 3ب و(الن (ة( �ك (ئ ال م(ال �خ�ذ%وا (ت ت (ن أ %م ك م%ر((أ ي ) و(ال

%م (نت أ �ذ إ (ع د( ب %ف ر� �ال ك ب %م ك م%ر%(أ (ي أ 4ا (اب ب ر

) أ�م%ون( ل م)س

[3:80] And neither would he enjoin you that you should take the angels and the prophets for lords; what! would he enjoin you with unbelief after you

are Muslims?


م3ن %م %ك (ي ت آت (م(ا ل 3ي ن( �ي �ب الن (اق( م�يث 1ه% الل (خ(ذ( أ �ذ و(إ3م(ا ل Pم)ص(د3ق Pس%ول ر( %م ج(اءك %م� ث Wو(ح�ك م(ة Wاب) �ت ك

%م ت ر (ق ر( (أ أ ق(ال( �ه% ن (نص%ر% (ت و(ل �ه� ب %ن� %ؤ م�ن (ت ل %م م(ع(كق(ال( (ا ن ر (ق ر( أ %وا ق(ال �ص ر�ي إ %م �ك ذ(ل ع(ل(ى %م (خ(ذ ت و(أ

اه�د�ين( الش� م3ن( %م م(ع(ك (ا (ن و(أ ه(د%وا ف(اش

[3:81] And when Allah made a covenant through the prophets: Certainly what I have given you of Book and wisdom-- then an

messenger comes to you verifying that which is with you, you must believe in him, and you must aid him. He said: Do you affirm and accept My compact in this (matter)? They said: We do affirm. He said: Then bear witness, and I (too) am of the bearers of witness

with you.


ه%م% �ك( ئ ـ( و ل% ف(أ �ك( ذ(ل (ع د( ب �ى (و(ل ت ف(م(ن

ق%ون( ال ف(اس�

[3:82] Whoever therefore turns back after this, these it is that are the transgressors.


م(ن (م( ل س ) أ (ه% و(ل (ب غ%ون( ي 1ه� الل د�ين� (ف(غ(ي ر( أ

ط(و ع4ا ر ض�) و(األ م(او(ات� الس� ف�ي

ج(ع%ون( %ر ي (ي ه� �ل و(إ ه4ا (ر و(ك

[3:83] Is it then other than Allah's religion that they seek (to follow), and to Him submits whoever is

in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him shall they be returned.


%نز�ل( أ و(م(ا (ا (ي ن ع(ل %نز�ل( أ و(م(ا 1ه� �الل ب �ا آم(ن ق%ل ح(اق( �س و(إ م(اع�يل( �س و(إ اه�يم( �ب ر( إ ع(ل(ى

م%وس(ى �ي( %وت أ و(م(ا (اط� ب (س و(األ (ع ق%وب( و(يق% %ف(ر3 ن ) ال 3ه�م ب ر� م�ن )ون( �ي �ب و(الن و(ع�يس(ى

�م%ون( ل م%س (ه% ل (ح ن% و(ن م3ن ه%م Wح(د) أ (ي ن( ب

[3:84] Say: We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and what

was given to Musa and Isa and to the prophets from their Lord; we do not make any distinction between any of

them, and to Him do we submit.


(ل( %ق ب ي ف(ل(ن 4ا د�ين � (م ال �س اإل غ(ي ر( (غ� (ب ت ي و(م(نر�ين( ال خ(اس� م�ن( ة� اآلخ�ر( ف�ي و(ه%و( م�ن ه%

[3:85] And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in

the hereafter he shall be one of the losers.


(ع د( ب وا (ف(ر% ك ق(و م4ا 1ه% الل (ه د�ي ي (ي ف( ك kح(ق س%ول( الر� (ن� أ ه�د%وا و(ش( �ه�م �يم(ان إ

(ه د�ي ي ) ال 1ه% و(الل (ات% 3ن (ي ال ب و(ج(اءه%م%�م�ين( الظ�ال ال ق(و م(

[3:86] How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their believing and (after) they

had borne witness that the Messenger was true and clear arguments had come to them; and Allah does

not guide the unjust people.


1ه� الل (ة( (ع ن ل (ي ه�م ع(ل (ن� أ آؤ%ه%م ج(ز( �ك( ئ ـ( و ل% أ

(ج م(ع�ين( أ �اس� و(الن (ة� �ك و(ال م(آلئ

[3:87] (As for) these, their reward is that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and of men,

all together.


ال ع(ذ(اب% ع(ن ه%م% %خ(ف�ف% ي ) ال ف�يه(ا �د�ين( ال خ(ون( %نظ(ر% ي ه%م ) و(ال

[3:88] Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be respited.


(ح%وا ص ل) و(أ �ك( ذ(ل (ع د� ب م�ن %وا (اب ت �ذ�ين( ال � �ال إ

Pح�يم ر� Pغ(ف%ور الله �ن� ف(إ

[3:89] Except those who repent after that and amend, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

[3:90] Surely, those who disbelieve a,fter their believing, then increase in unbelief, their repentance

shall not be accepted, and these are they that go astray.


ف(ل(ن Pف�ار% ك و(ه%م %وا و(م(ات وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( ال �ن� إ(و� و(ل 4ا ذ(ه(ب األر ض� ء% م3ل (ح(د�ه�م أ م�ن (ل( %ق ب ي

(ه%م ل و(م(ا Pيم� (ل أ Pع(ذ(اب (ه%م ل �ك( ئ ـ( و ل% أ �ه� ب (د(ى اف ت

�اص�ر�ين( ن م3ن

[3:91] Surely, those who disbelieve and die while they are unbelievers, the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them, though he should offer to ransom himself with it, these it is who shall have a painful chastisement, and they

shall have no helpers.


)ون( ب %ح� ت م�م�ا %نف�ق%وا ت �ى ح(ت �ر� ال ب %وا (ال (ن ت (ن ل�ه� ب 1ه( الل �ن� ف(إ Wي ء ش( م�ن %نف�ق%وا ت و(م(ا

Pيم� ع(ل

[3:92] By no means shall you attain to righteousness until you spend (benevolently) out of what you love; and whatever thing you spend, Allah surely knows

it.


� �ال إ �يل( ائ ر( �س إ �ي (ن 3ب ل � ح�ـال (ان( ك � الط�ع(ام %ل) كق(ب ل� م�ن ه� (ف س� ن ع(ل(ى �يل% ائ ر( �س إ م( ح(ر� م(ا

اة� �و ر( �الت ب %وا تف(أ ق%ل اة% �و ر( الت ل( (ز� %ن ت (ن أ

ص(اد�ق�ين( %م %نت ك �ن إ %وه(ا ف(ات ل

[3:93] All food was lawful to the children of Israel except that which Israel had forbidden to himself, before the Taurat

was revealed. Say: Bring then the Taurat and read it, if you are truthful.


م�ن (ذ�ب( ال ك 1ه� الل ع(ل(ى ى( (ر( اف ت ف(م(ن��م%ون( الظ�ال ه%م% �ك( ئ ـ( و ل

% ف(أ �ك( ذ(ل (ع د� ب

[3:94] Then whoever fabricates a lie against Allah after this, these it is that are the unjust.


اه�يم( �ب ر( إ �ة( م�ل �ع%وا �ب ف(ات 1ه% الل ص(د(ق( ق%ل �ين( ر�ك ال م%ش م�ن( (ان( ك و(م(ا �يف4ا ن ح(

[3:95] Say: Allah has spoken the truth, therefore follow the religion of Ibrahim, the upright one;

and he was not one of the polytheists.


�ذ�ي (ل ل �اس� �لن ل و%ض�ع( Wي ت) ب و�ل() أ �ن� إ

(م�ين( 3ل ع(ال ل و(ه%د4ى 4ا ك (ار( م%ب �ة( (ك �ب ب

[3:96] Most surely the first house appointed for men is the one at Bekka, blessed and a guidance

for the nations.


(ه% ل د(خ( و(م(ن اه�يم( �ب ر( إ م�ق(ام% Pات) ن ـ3 (ي ب Pات) آي ف�يه�م(ن� (ي ت� ال ب ح�ج) �اس� الن ع(ل(ى 1ه� �ل و(ل 4ا آم�ن (ان( كالله �ن� ف(إ (ف(ر( ك و(م(ن 4 �يال ب س( (ي ه� �ل إ (ط(اع( ت اس

(م�ين( ال ع(ال ع(ن� kي� غ(ن

[3:97] In it are clear signs, the standing place of Ibrahim, and whoever enters it shall be secure, and pilgrimage to the House

is incumbent upon men for the sake of Allah, (upon) every one who is able to undertake the journey to it; and whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is Self-sufficient, above any

need of the worlds.


(ات� �آي ب ون( (ك ف%ر% ت �م( ل (اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل( أ (ا ي ق%ل %ون( (ع م(ل ت م(ا ع(ل(ى Pه�يد ش( 1ه% و(الل 1ه� الل

[3:98] Say: O followers of the Book! why do you disbelieve in the communications of Allah? And

Allah is a witness of what you do.


ع(ن (ص%د)ون( ت �م( ل (اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل( أ (ا ي ق%ل ع�و(ج4ا (ه(ا (ب غ%ون ت آم(ن( م(ن 1ه� الل �يل� ب س(ع(م�ا Wغ(اف�ل� ب 1ه% الل و(م(ا ه(د(اء ش% %م (نت و(أ

(ع م(ل%ون( ت

[3:99] Say: O followers of the Book! why do you hinder him who believes from the way of Allah?

You seek (to make) it crooked, while you are witness, and Allah is not heedless of what you do.


م3ن( ف(ر�يق4ا %ط�يع%وا ت �ن إ %و(ا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال )ه(ا ي) أ (ا ي

(ع د( ب %م د)وك (ر% ي (اب( �ت ال ك %وا %وت أ �ذ�ين( ال(اف�ر�ين( ك %م �ك �يم(ان إ

[3:100] O you who believe! if you obey a party from among those who have been given the Book, they will turn you back as unbelievers after you have

believed.


%م (ي ك ع(ل %ت ل(ى ت %م (نت و(أ ون( (ك ف%ر% ت (ي ف( و(كو(م(ن %ه% ول س% ر( %م و(ف�يك 1ه� الل (ات% آي

Wاط ص�ر( �ل(ى إ ه%د�ي( ف(ق(د 1ه� �الل ب (ص�م (ع ت يW (ق�يم ت م)س

[3:101] But how can you disbelieve while it is you to whom the communications of Allah are recited, and among you is His Messenger? And whoever

holds fast to Allah, he indeed is guided to the right path.


ح(ق� 1ه( الل �ق%وا ات %وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال )ه(ا ي) أ (ا ي

�م%ون( ل م)س %م (نت و(أ � �ال إ %ن� (م%وت ت ) و(ال �ه� %ق(ات ت

[3:102] O you who believe! be careful of (your duty to) Allah with the care which is due to Him,

and do not die unless you are Muslims.


ق%وا (ف(ر� ت ) و(ال ج(م�يع4ا 1ه� الل ب ل� �ح( ب (ص�م%وا و(اع ت(ع د(اء أ %م %نت ك �ذ إ %م (ي ك ع(ل 1ه� الل �ع م(ت( ن وا %ر% و(اذ ك

4ا �خ و(ان إ �ه� �ع م(ت �ن ب %م ت (ح ص ب) ف(أ %م �ك %وب ق%ل (ي ن( ب (ل�ف( ف(أ

%م (نق(ذ(ك ف(أ �ار� الن م3ن( Wة ح%ف ر( ف(ا ش( ع(ل(ى( %م %نت و(ك(د%ون( (ه ت ت %م �ك (ع(ل ل �ه� (ات آي %م (ك ل 1ه% الل 3ن% (ي %ب ي �ك( (ذ(ل ك م3ن ه(ا

[3:103] And hold fast by the covenant of Allah all together and be not disunited, and remember the favor of Allah on you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts so by His favor you became

brethren; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, then He saved you from it, thus does Allah make clear to you His communications that

you may follow the right way.


ي ر� ال خ( �ل(ى إ (د ع%ون( ي Pم�ة% أ %م م3نك %ن (ك و(ل ت

ع(ن� (ن ه(و ن( و(ي وف� �ال م(ع ر% ب ون( م%ر%(أ و(ي

�ح%ون( ال م%ف ل ه%م% �ك( ئ ـ( و ل% و(أ (ر� ال م%نك

[3:104] And from among you there should be a party who invite to good and enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong, and these it is that shall be

successful.


م�ن (ف%وا (ل ت و(اخ ق%وا (ف(ر� ت �ذ�ين( (ال ك %وا %ون (ك ت ) و(ال(ه%م ل �ك( ئ ـ( و ل

% و(أ (ات% 3ن (ي ال ب ج(اءه%م% م(ا (ع د� ب Pع(ظ�يم Pع(ذ(اب

[3:105] And be not like those who became divided and disagreed after clear arguments had come to them,

and these it is that shall have a grievous chastisement.


م�ا ) ف(أ Pو%ج%وه و(د) (س و(ت Pو%ج%وه (ض) (ب ي ت (و م( ي

(ع د( ب %م ت (ك ف(ر أ و%ج%وه%ه%م و(د�ت اس �ذ�ين( ال%م %ن ت ك �م(ا ب ال ع(ذ(اب( ف(ذ%وق%وا %م �ك �يم(ان إ

ون( (ك ف%ر% ت

[3:106] On the day when (some) faces shall turn white and (some) faces shall turn black; then as to those whose faces turn black: Did you disbelieve

after your believing? Taste therefore the chastisement because you disbelieved.


ف(ف�ي و%ج%وه%ه%م (ض�ت اب ي �ذ�ين( ال م�ا) و(أ

�د%ون( ال خ( ف�يه(ا ه%م 1ه� الل ح م(ة� ر(

[3:107] And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in Allah's mercy; in it they shall-

abide.


�ال ح(ق3 ب (ي ك( ع(ل %وه(ا (ت ل ن 1ه� الل (ات% آي �ل ك( ت(م�ين( 3ل ع(ال ل ظ%ل م4ا %ر�يد% ي 1ه% الل و(م(ا

[3:108] These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth, and Allah does

not desire any injustice to the creatures.


ف�ي و(م(ا م(او(ات� الس� ف�ي م(ا 1ه� �ل و(ل%م%ور% األ ج(ع% %ر ت 1ه� الل �ل(ى و(إ ر ض�

) األ

[3:109] And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and to Allah all

things return


ون( م%ر%(أ ت �اس� �لن ل %خ ر�ج(ت أ Wم�ة

% أ ي ر( خ( %م %نت ك(ر� ال م%نك ع(ن� (ن ه(و ن( و(ت وف� �ال م(ع ر% ب

(اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل% أ آم(ن( (و و(ل 1ه� �الل ب %ون( %ؤ م�ن و(ت%ون( ال م%ؤ م�ن م3ن ه%م% �ه%م ل ا ي ر4 خ( (ان( (ك ل

ق%ون( ال ف(اس� ه%م% (ر% ك ث) و(أ

[3:110] You are the best of the nations raised up for (the benefit of) men; you enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and believe in Allah; and if the followers of the

Book had believed it would have been better for them; of them (some) are believers and most of them are

transgressors.


%م %وك �ل %ق(ات ي �ن و(إ (ذ4ى أ � �ال إ %م وك (ض%ر) ي (ن لون( %نص(ر% ي ) ال %م� ث (ار( (د%ب األ %م% )وك %و(ل ي

[3:111] They shall by no means harm you but with a slight evil; and if they fight with you they shall turn (their) backs to you, then shall they not be

helped.


م3ن Wب ل �ح( ب � �ال إ %ق�ف%وا ث م(ا (ي ن( أ �ة% الذ3ل (ي ه�م% ع(ل (ت ض%ر�ب1ه� الل م3ن( Wغ(ض(ب� ب (آؤ%وا و(ب �اس� الن م3ن( Wب ل و(ح( 1ه� الل

%وا (ان ك �ه%م ن) �أ ب �ك( ذ(ل (ة% (ن ك ال م(س (ي ه�م% ع(ل (ت و(ض%ر�ب

ح(ق� �غ(ي ر� ب (اء �ي (نب األ %ل%ون( (ق ت و(ي 1ه� الل (ات� �آي ب ون( (ك ف%ر% ي(د%ون( (ع ت ي %وا (ان و�ك ع(ص(وا �م(ا ب �ك( ذ(ل

[3:112] Abasement is made to cleave to them wherever they are found, except under a covenant with Allah and a covenant with men, and they have become deserving of wrath from Allah, and

humiliation is made to cleave to them; this is because they disbelieved in the communications of Allah and slew the

prophets unjustly; this is because they disobeyed and exceeded the limits.


Pم�ة% أ (اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل� أ م3ن و(اء س( وا (ي س% ل

و(ه%م �ي ل� الل (اء آن 1ه� الل (ات� آي %ون( (ت ل ي Pم(ة� ق(آئج%د%ون( (س ي

[3:113] They are not all alike; of the followers of the Book there is an upright party; they recite Allah's communications in the nighttime and they adore

(Him).


ون( م%ر%(أ و(ي اآلخ�ر� � (و م و(ال ي 1ه� �الل ب %ون( %ؤ م�ن ي

(ر� ال م%نك ع(ن� (ن ه(و ن( و(ي وف� �ال م(ع ر% ب�ك( ئ ـ( و ل

% و(أ ات� ي ر( ال خ( ف�ي ار�ع%ون( %س( و(ي�ح�ين( الص�ال م�ن(

[3:114] They believe in Allah and the last day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and they strive with one another in hastening to good

deeds, and those are among the good.


و ه% %ك ف(ر% ي ف(ل(ن Wي ر خ( م�ن %وا (ف ع(ل ي و(م(ا�ق�ين( �ال م%ت ب Pيم� ع(ل 1ه% و(الل

[3:115] And whatever good they do, they shall not be denied it, and Allah knows those who guard

(against evil).


ع(ن ه%م �ي( %غ ن ت (ن ل وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( ال �ن� إ4ا ي ئ ش( 1ه� الل م3ن( (د%ه%م و ال

) أ ) و(ال %ه%م م و(ال) أ

ف�يه(ا ه%م �ار� الن ص ح(اب%) أ �ك( ئ ـ( و ل

% و(أ�د%ون( ال خ(

[3:116] (As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in

the least against Allah; and these are the inmates of the fire; therein they shall abide.


(ا الد)ن ي (اة� ي ال ح( ذ�ه� هـ� ف�ي %نف�ق%ون( ي م(ا (ل% م(ث W ق(و م ث( ح(ر (ت ص(اب

) أ kص�ر ف�يه(ا Wر�يح (ل� (م(ث ك(م(ه%م% ظ(ل و(م(ا (ت ه% (ك ه ل

) ف(أ ه%م (نف%س( أ (م%وا ظ(ل�م%ون( (ظ ل ي ه%م (نف%س( أ ك�ن ـ( و(ل 1ه% الل

[3:117] The likeness of what they spend in the life of this world is as the likeness of wind in which is intense cold (that) smites the seed produce of a people who haw done injustice to their souls and destroys it; and Allah is not

unjust to them, but they are unjust to themselves.


م3ن (ة4 �ط(ان ب �خ�ذ%وا (ت ت ) ال %وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال )ه(ا ي) أ (ا ي

ق(د )م �ت ع(ن م(ا و(د)وا 4 (اال ب خ( %م (ك %ون (أ ل ي ) ال %م �ك د%ون%خ ف�ي ت و(م(ا (ف و(اه�ه�م أ م�ن (غ ض(اء ال ب (د(ت� ب�ن إ (ات� اآلي %م% (ك ل �ا �ن (ي ب ق(د (ر% ك ب

) أ ه%م ص%د%ور%%ون( (ع ق�ل ت %م %نت ك

[3:118] O you who believe! do not take for intimate friends from among others than your own people; they do not fall short of inflicting loss upon you; they love what distresses

you; vehement hatred has already appeared from out of their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater still; indeed, We have made the communications clear to you, if

you will understand.

%م (ق%وك ل �ذ(ا و(إ 3ه� %ل ك (اب� �ت �ال ك ب %ون( %ؤ م�ن و(ت%م% (ي ك ع(ل ع(ض)وا (و ا ل خ( �ذ(ا و(إ �ا آم(ن %وا ق(ال

%م �غ(ي ظ�ك ب %وا م%وت ق%ل ال غ(ي ظ� م�ن( (ام�ل( (ن األالص)د%ور� �ذ(ات� ب Pيم� ع(ل 1ه( الل �ن� إ

[3:119] Lo! you are they who will love them while they do not love you, and you believe in the Book (in) the whole of it; and when they meet you they say: We believe, and when they are alone, they bite the ends of their fingers in

rage against you. Say: Die in your rage; surely Allah knows what is in the breasts.


�ن و(إ ؤ ه%م (س% ت Pة) ن ح(س( %م ك (م س(س ت �ن إ�ن و(إ �ه(ا ب ح%وا (ف ر( ي Pة) 3ئ ي س( %م %ص�ب ك ت

(ي د%ه%م ك %م ك (ض%ر) ي ) ال �ق%وا (ت و(ت وا �ر% (ص ب ت Pم%ح�يط (ع م(ل%ون( ي �م(ا ب 1ه( الل �ن� إ 4ا ي ئ ش(

[3:120] If good befalls you, it grieves them, and if an evil afflicts you, they rejoice at it; and if you are

patient and guard yourselves, their scheme will not injure you in any way; surely Allah comprehends

what they do.


�ين( ال م%ؤ م�ن (و3ئ% %ب ت �ك( (ه ل أ م�ن غ(د(و ت( �ذ و(إ Pيم� ع(ل Pم�يع س( 1ه% و(الل (ال� �ل ق�ت ل م(ق(اع�د(

[3:121] And when you did go forth early in the morning from your family to lodge the believers in encampments for war and Allah is Hearing,

Knowing.


) ال (ف ش( ت (ن أ %م م�نك (ان� �ف(ت ط�آئ ه(م�ت �ذ إ�ل� (و(ك (ت ف(ل ي 1ه� الل و(ع(ل(ى )ه%م(ا �ي و(ل 1ه% و(الل

%ون( ال م%ؤ م�ن

[3:122] When two parties from among you had determined that they should show cowardice, and Allah was the guardian of them both, and in Allah

should the believers trust.


Pة� (ذ�ل أ %م (نت و(أ Wد ر) �ب ب 1ه% الل %م% ك (ص(ر( ن (ق(د و(لون( %ر% ك (ش ت %م �ك (ع(ل ل 1ه( الل �ق%وا ف(ات

[3:123] And Allah did certainly assist you at Badr when you were weak; be careful of (your duty to)

Allah then, that you may give thanks.


(ن أ %م (ك ف�يك ي (ن (ل أ �ين( �ل م%ؤ م�ن ل (ق%ول% ت �ذ إم3ن( Wف) آال (ة� (ث (ال �ث ب %م )ك ب ر( %م %م�د�ك ي

�ين( ل م%نز( (ة� �ك ال م(آلئ

[3:124] When you said to the believers: Does it not suffice you that your Lord should assist you with

three thousand of the angels sent down?


م3ن %م %وك (أ ت و(ي �ق%وا (ت و(ت وا �ر% (ص ب ت �ن إ (ل(ى بة� �خ(م س( ب %م )ك ب ر( %م %م د�د ك ي ذ(ا هـ( ف(و ر�ه�م

و3م�ين( م%س( (ة� �ك ال م(آلئ م3ن( Wآالف

[3:125] Yea! if you remain patient and are on your guard, and they come upon you in a headlong manner, your Lord will assist you with five

thousand of the havoc-making angels.


%م (ك ل ى ر( %ش ب � �ال إ 1ه% الل (ه% ج(ع(ل و(م(ا � �ال إ �ص ر% الن و(م(ا �ه� ب %م %ك %وب ق%ل �ن� (ط م(ئ �ت و(ل

� ال ح(ك�يم ال ع(ز�يز� 1ه� الل ع�ند� م�ن

[3:126] And Allah did not make it but as good news for you, and that your hearts might be at

ease thereby, and victory is only from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.


و ) أ وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( ال م3ن( ف4ا ط(ر( (ق ط(ع( �ي ل

�ين( �ب آئ خ( %وا �ب (نق(ل ف(ي (ه%م �ت (ك ب ي

[3:127] That He may cut off a portion from among those who disbelieve, or abase them so that they should return disappointed of attaining what they

desired.


%وب( (ت ي و ) أ Pء ي ش( (م ر� األ م�ن( (ك( ل (ي س( ل

�م%ون( ظ(ال �ه%م �ن ف(إ (ه%م %ع(ذ�ب ي و ) أ (ي ه�م ع(ل

[3:128] You have no concern in the affair whether He turns to them (mercifully) or chastises them,

for surely they are unjust.


ف�ي و(م(ا م(او(ات� الس� ف�ي م(ا 1ه� �ل و(لم(ن %ع(ذ3ب% و(ي اء (ش( ي �م(ن ل (غ ف�ر% ي ر ض�

) األ Pح�يم ر� Pغ(ف%ور 1ه% و(الل اء (ش( ي

[3:129] And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; He forgives

whom He pleases and chastises whom He pleases; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.


(ا ب الر3 %وا %ل (أ ك ت ) ال %وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال )ه(ا ي) أ (ا ي

%م �ك (ع(ل ل 1ه( الل �ق%وا و(ات م)ض(اع(ف(ة4 (ض ع(اف4ا أ�ح%ون( %ف ل ت

[3:130] O you who believe! do not devour usury, making it double and redouble, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, that you may be successful.


(اف�ر�ين( �ل ك ل %ع�د�ت أ �ي �ت ال �ار( الن �ق%وا و(ات

[3:131] And guard yourselves against the fire which has been prepared for the unbelievers.


%م �ك (ع(ل ل س%ول( و(الر� 1ه( الل (ط�يع%وا و(أح(م%ون( %ر ت

[3:132] And obey Allah and the Messenger, that you may be shown mercy.


Wة� ن و(ج( %م 3ك ب ر� م3ن Wة م(غ ف�ر( �ل(ى إ ار�ع%وا و(س(%ع�د�ت أ ر ض%

) و(األ م(او(ات% الس� ض%ه(ا ع(ر �ق�ين( �ل م%ت ل

[3:133] And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord; and a Garden, the extensiveness of which is (as) the

heavens and the earth, it is prepared for those who guard (against evil).


اء و(الض�ر� اء ر� الس� ف�ي %نف�ق%ون( ي �ذ�ين( الع(ن� و(ال ع(اف�ين( ال غ(ي ظ( (اظ�م�ين( و(ال ك

�ين( ن ال م%ح س� %ح�ب) ي 1ه% و(الل �اس� الن

[3:134] Those who spend (benevolently) in ease as well as in straitness, and those who restrain

(their) anger and pardon men; and Allah loves the doers of good (to others).


(م%وا ظ(ل و ) أ ة4 ف(اح�ش( %وا ف(ع(ل �ذ(ا إ �ذ�ين( و(ال

وا (غ ف(ر% ت ف(اس 1ه( الل وا (ر% ذ(ك ه%م (ن ف%س( أ(م و(ل 1ه% الل � �ال إ %وب( الذ)ن (غ ف�ر% ي و(م(ن �ه�م %وب �ذ%ن ل

(م%ون( (ع ل ي و(ه%م %وا ف(ع(ل م(ا ع(ل(ى وا %ص�ر) ي

[3:135] And those who when they commit an indecency or do injustice to their souls remember Allah and ask

forgiveness for their faults-- and who forgives the faults but Allah, and (who) do not knowingly persist in what

they have done.

ن ه(ار% ) األ �ه(ا ت (ح ت م�ن (ج ر�ي ت Pات� ن و(ج(

�ين( ال ع(ام�ل (ج ر% أ �ع م( و(ن ف�يه(ا �د�ين( ال خ(

[3:136] (As for) these-- their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which

rivers flow, to abide in them, and excellent is the reward of the laborers.

) األ ف�ي�ين( (ذ�ب ال م%ك (ة% ع(اق�ب

[3:137] Indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what

was the end of the rejecters.


Pو(م(و ع�ظ(ة و(ه%د4ى �اس� 3لن ل Pان) (ي ب ذ(ا هـ(�ق�ين( 3ل م%ت ل

[3:138] This is a clear statement for men, and a guidance and an admonition to those who guard

(against evil).


(و ن( ع ل) األ %م% (نت و(أ %وا ن (ح ز( ت ) و(ال %وا (ه�ن ت ) و(ال

�ين( م)ؤ م�ن %م %نت ك �ن إ

[3:139] And be not infirm, and be not grieving, and you shall have the upper hand if you are

believers.


ال ق(و م( م(س� ف(ق(د Pح ق(ر %م ك (م س(س ي �ن إ(ي ن( ب %ه(ا %د(او�ل ن �ام% األي �ل ك( و(ت %ه% م3ث ل Pح ق(ر

ذ( �خ� (ت و(ي %وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال 1ه% الل (م( (ع ل �ي و(ل �اس� الن�م�ين( الظ�ال %ح�ب) ي ) ال 1ه% و(الل ه(د(اء ش% %م م�نك

[3:140] If a wound has afflicted you (at Ohud), a wound like it has also afflicted the (unbelieving) people; and

We bring these days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among

you; and Allah does not love the unjust.


(م ح(ق( و(ي %وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال 1ه% الل %م(ح3ص( �ي و(ل(اف�ر�ين( ال ك

[3:141] And that He may purge those who believe and deprive the unbelievers of blessings.


� (م (ع ل ي (م�ا و(ل �ة( ن ال ج( %وا ل (د خ% ت (ن أ %م ب ت ح(س� (م أ(م( (ع ل و(ي %م م�نك ج(اه(د%وا �ذ�ين( ال 1ه% الل

�ر�ين( الص�اب

[3:142] Do you think that you will enter the garden while Allah has not yet known those who strive hard

from among you, and (He has not) known the patient.


(ن أ ق(ب ل� م�ن ال م(و ت( �و ن( (م(ن ت %م %نت ك (ق(د و(لون( (نظ%ر% ت %م (نت و(أ %م%وه% (ي ت أ ر( ف(ق(د (ل ق(و ه% ت

[3:143] And certainly you desired death before you met it, so indeed you have seen it and you look

(at it)


م�ن خ(ل(ت ق(د Pس%ول ر( � �ال إ Pم%ح(م�د و(م(ا�ل( ق%ت و

) أ م�ات( �ن ف(إ) أ ل% س% الر) �ه� ق(ب ل

(نق(ل�ب ي و(م(ن %م �ك ع ق(اب) أ ع(ل(ى %م (ب ت انق(ل

4ا ي ئ ش( 1ه( الل (ض%ر� ي ف(ل(ن (ي ه� ع(ق�ب ع(ل(ى(�ر�ين( اك الش� 1ه% الل (ج ز�ي ي و(س(

[3:144] And Muhammad is no more than a messenger; the messengers have already passed away before him; if then he dies or is killed will you turn back upon your heels? And whoever turns back upon his heels, he will by no

means do harm to Allah in the least and Allah will reward the grateful.


الله �ذ ن� �إ ب � �ال إ (م%وت( ت (ن أ Wف س) �ن ل (ان( ك و(م(ا�ه� %ؤ ت ن (ا الد)ن ي (و(اب( ث %ر�د ي و(م(ن 4 م)ؤ(ج�ال 4ا (اب �ت كم�ن ه(ا �ه� %ؤ ت ن ة� اآلخ�ر( (و(اب( ث %ر�د ي و(م(ن م�ن ه(ا

�ر�ين( اك الش� (ج ز�ي ن و(س(

[3:145] And a soul will not die but with the permission of Allah the term is fixed; and whoever desires the reward of this world, I shall give him of it, and whoever desires the reward of the hereafter I shall give him of it, and I

will reward the grateful.

1ه� الل �يل� ب س( ف�ي (ه%م ص(اب) أ �م(ا ل %وا و(ه(ن ف(م(ا

%ح�ب) ي 1ه% و(الل %وا (ان (ك ت اس و(م(ا ض(ع%ف%وا و(م(ا�ر�ين( الص�اب

[3:146] And how many a prophet has fought with whom were many worshippers of the Lord; so they did not

become weak-hearted on account of what befell them in Allah's way, nor did they weaken, nor did they

abase themselves; and Allah loves the patient.


اغ ف�ر (ا �ن رب %وا ق(ال (ن أ � �ال إ (ه%م ق(و ل (ان( ك و(م(ا3ت (ب و(ث (ا م ر�ن

) أ ف�ي (ا اف(ن ر( �س و(إ (ا (ن %وب ذ%ن (ا (ن ل � ال ق(و م ع(ل(ى (ا ن وانص%ر (ا (ق د(ام(ن أ

(اف�ر�ين( ال ك

[3:147] And their saying was no other than that they said: Our Lord! forgive us our faults and our

extravagance in our affair and make firm our feet and help us against the unbelieving people.


ن( و(ح%س (ا الد)ن ي (و(اب( ث 1ه% الل (اه%م% ف(آت%ح�ب) ي 1ه% و(الل ة� اآلخ�ر( (و(اب� ث

�ين( ن ال م%ح س�

[3:148] So Allah gave them the reward of this world and better reward of the hereafter and Allah loves those who do good (to others).


�ذ�ين( ال %ط�يع%وا ت �ن إ %و(ا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال )ه(ا ي) أ (ا ي

%م �ك (ع ق(اب أ ع(ل(ى %م د)وك (ر% ي وا (ف(ر% كر�ين( خ(اس� %وا �ب (نق(ل ف(ت

[3:149] O you who believe! if you obey those who disbelieve they will turn you back upon your

heels, so you will turn back losers.


�اص�ر�ين( الن ي ر% خ( و(ه%و( %م (ك م(و ال 1ه% الل (ل� ب

[3:150] Nay! Allah is your Patron and He is the best of the helpers.


وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( ال ق%ل%وب� ف�ي %ل ق�ي ن س((م ل م(ا 1ه� �الل ب %وا ك ر( (ش أ �م(ا ب ع ب( الر)�ار% الن و(اه%م%

و(م(أ 4ا ل ط(ان س% �ه� ب ل (ز3 %ن ي�م�ين( الظ�ال م(ث و(ى �ئ س( و(ب

[3:151] We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah

that for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of the

unjust.


�ه� �ذ ن �إ ب (ه%م ون (ح%س) ت �ذ إ و(ع د(ه% 1ه% الل %م% ص(د(ق(ك (ق(د و(ل(م ر� األ ف�ي %م ع ت (از( (ن و(ت %م ل ت ف(ش� �ذ(ا إ �ى ت ح(

م�نك%م )ون( ب %ح� ت م�ا %م اك ر() أ م(ا (ع د� ب م3ن %م و(ع(ص(ي ت

%م� ث ة( اآلخ�ر( %ر�يد% ي م�ن %م و(م�نك (ا الد)ن ي %ر�يد% ي م�ن%م ع(نك ع(ف(ا (ق(د و(ل %م (ك �ي (ل (ب ت �ي ل ع(ن ه%م %م ف(ك ص(ر(

�ين( ال م%ؤ م�ن ع(ل(ى Wف(ض ل ذ%و 1ه% و(الل

[3:152] And certainly Allah made good to you His promise when you slew them by His permission, until when you became weak-hearted and disputed about the affair and disobeyed after He had shown you that which you loved; of you were some who desired this world and of you were some who desired the hereafter; then

He turned you away from them that He might try you; and He has certainly pardoned you, and Allah is Gracious to the believers.


Wد أح( ع(ل(ى (ل و%ون( ت ) و(ال %ص ع�د%ون( ت �ذ إ%م اك %خ ر( أ ف�ي %م (د ع%وك ي س%ول% و(الر�

م(ا ع(ل(ى %وا ن (ح ز( ت ) (ي ال 3ك ل �غ(م� ب 4 غ%م�ا %م (ك (اب ث) ف(أ

�م(ا ب Pير� ب خ( 1ه% و(الل %م (ك ص(اب) أ م(ا ) و(ال %م (ك ف(ات

[3:153] When you ran off precipitately and did not wait for any one, and the Messenger was calling you from your rear, so He gave you another sorrow instead of (your)

sorrow, so that you might not grieve at what had escaped you, nor (at) what befell you; and Allah is aware of what

you do.

) ال م�ا ه�م (نف%س� أ ف�ي %خ ف%ون( ي �ه� �ل ل �ه% %ل ك (م ر( األ �ن� إ ق%ل Wي ء ش((ا �ل ن ق%ت م�ا Pي ء ش( (م ر� األ م�ن( (ا (ن ل (ان( ك (و ل %ون( (ق%ول ي (ك( ل %ب د%ون( ي(ي ه�م% ع(ل �ب( %ت ك �ذ�ين( ال ز( (ر( (ب ل %م �ك %وت %ي ب ف�ي %م %نت ك �و ل ق%ل (ا ه(اه%ن%م ص%د%ور�ك ف�ي م(ا 1ه% الل (ل�ي( (ب ت �ي و(ل م(ض(اج�ع�ه�م �ل(ى إ ال ق(ت ل%

الص)د%ور� �ذ(ات� ب Pيم� ع(ل 1ه% و(الل %م �ك %وب ق%ل ف�ي م(ا %م(ح�ص( �ي و(ل

[3:154] Then after sorrow He sent down security upon you, a calm coming upon a party of you, and (there was) another party whom their own souls had rendered anxious; they

entertained about Allah thoughts of ignorance quite unjustly, saying: We have no hand in the affair. Say: Surely the affair is wholly (in the hands) of Allah. They conceal

within their souls what they would not reveal to you. They say: Had we any hand in the affair, we would not have been slain here. Say: Had you remained in your houses, those for whom slaughter was ordained would certainly have gone forth to the places where

they would be slain, and that Allah might test what was in your breasts and that He might purge what was in your hearts; and Allah knows what is in the breasts.


(ق(ى ال ت (و م( ي %م م�نك �و ا (و(ل ت �ذ�ين( ال �ن� إي ط(ان% الش� �ه%م% ل (ز( ت اس �م(ا �ن إ ال ج(م ع(ان�

ع(ن ه%م 1ه% الل ع(ف(ا (ق(د و(ل %وا ب (س( ك م(ا (ع ض� �ب ب Pيم� ل ح( Pغ(ف%ور 1ه( الل �ن� إ

[3:155] (As for) those of you who turned back on the day when the two armies met, only the Shaitan sought to cause them to make a slip on account of some deeds they had done, and certainly Allah has pardoned them;

surely Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing.


وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( (ال ك %وا %ون (ك ت ) ال %وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال )ه(ا ي) أ (ا ي

و ) أ ر ض�

) األ ف�ي %وا ب ض(ر( �ذ(ا إ �ه�م �خ و(ان إل %وا و(ق(ال%وا �ل ق%ت و(م(ا %وا م(ات م(ا (ا ع�ند(ن %وا (ان ك �و ل ى غ%ز� %وا (ان ك1ه% و(الل �ه�م %وب ق%ل ف�ي ة4 ر( ح(س ذ(ل�ك( 1ه% الل (ج ع(ل( �ي ل

Pص�ير) ب (ع م(ل%ون( ت �م(ا ب 1ه% و(الل %م�يت% و(ي ي ـ� %ح ي ي

[3:156] O you who believe! be not like those who disbelieve and say of their brethren when they travel in the earth or engage in fighting: Had they been with us, they would not have died and they would not have been slain; so Allah makes this to be an intense regret in their hearts;

and Allah gives life and causes death and Allah sees what you do.


)م م%ت و ) أ 1ه� الل �يل� ب س( ف�ي %م �ل ت ق%ت �ن (ئ و(ل

م3م�ا Pي ر خ( Pح م(ة و(ر( 1ه� الل م3ن( Pة (م(غ ف�ر( ل(ج م(ع%ون( ي

[3:157] And if you are slain in the way of Allah or you die, certainly forgiveness from Allah and

mercy is better than what they amass.


الله �ل(ى إل %م �ل ت ق%ت و ) أ )م م)ت �ن (ئ و(ل

ون( ر% %ح ش( ت

[3:158] And if indeed you die or you are slain, certainly to Allah shall you be gathered together.


%نت( ك (و و(ل (ه%م ل �نت( ل 1ه� الل م3ن( Wح م(ة ر( �م(ا ف(ب�ك( ح(و ل م�ن (نف(ض)وا ال ال ق(ل ب� �يظ( غ(ل ف(ظ�اه%م او�ر و(ش( (ه%م ل (غ ف�ر ت و(اس ع(ن ه%م ف(اع ف%

1ه� الل ع(ل(ى �ل (و(ك ف(ت م ت( ع(ز( �ذ(ا ف(إ (م ر� األ ف�ي�ين( 3ل (و(ك ال م%ت %ح�ب) ي 1ه( الل �ن� إ

[3:159] Thus it is due to mercy from Allah that you deal with them gently, and had you been rough, hard hearted, they would certainly have dispersed from around you;

pardon them therefore and ask pardon for them, and take counsel with them in the affair; so when you have

decided, then place your trust in Allah; surely Allah loves those who trust.


�ن و(إ %م (ك ل غ(ال�ب( ) ف(ال 1ه% الل %م% ك (نص%ر ي �ن إم3ن %م ك (نص%ر% ي �ذ�ي ال ذ(ا ف(م(ن %م (خ ذ%ل ك ي

%ون( ال م%ؤ م�ن 3ل� (و(ك (ت ف(ل ي 1ه� الل و(ع(ل(ى (ع د�ه� ب

[3:160] If Allah assists you, then there is none that can overcome you, and if He forsakes you, who is there then that can assist you after Him? And on

Allah should the believers rely.


(أ ت� ي %ل (غ ل ي و(م(ن (غ%ل� ي (ن أ �ي� (ب �ن ل (ان( ك و(م(ا%ل) ك %و(ف�ى ت %م� ث (ام(ة� ال ق�ي (و م( ي غ(ل� �م(ا ب

(م%ون( %ظ ل ي ) ال و(ه%م (ت ب (س( ك م�ا Wف س) ن

[3:161] And it is not attributable to a prophet that he should act unfaithfully; and he who acts unfaithfully

shall bring that in respect of which he has acted unfaithfully on the day of resurrection; then shall every

soul be paid back fully what it has earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.


(اء ب (م(ن ك 1ه� الل ر�ض و(ان( (ع( �ب ات (ف(م(ن� أ�ئ س( و(ب �م% ه(ن ج( و(اه%

و(م(أ 1ه� الل م3ن( Wس(خ ط� ب ال م(ص�ير%

[3:162] Is then he who follows the pleasure of Allah like him who has made himself deserving of

displeasure from Allah, and his abode is hell; and it is an evil destination.


�م(ا ب Pص�ير) ب 1ه% والل 1ه� الل ع�ند( Pج(ات د(ر( ه%م (ع م(ل%ون( ي

[3:163] There are (varying) grades with Allah, and Allah sees what they do.


ف�يه�م (ع(ث( ب �ذ إ �ين( ال م%ؤم�ن ع(ل(ى 1ه% الل م(ن� (ق(د ل�ه� (ات آي (ي ه�م ع(ل %و (ت ل ي ه�م (نف%س� أ م3ن 4 وال س% ر(

�ن و(إ و(ال ح�ك م(ة( (اب( �ت ال ك 3م%ه%م% %ع(ل و(ي 3يه�م ك %ز( و(ي Wين� م)ب Wض(الل (ف�ي ل ق(ب ل% م�ن %وا (ان ك

[3:164] Certainly Allah conferred a benefit upon the believers when He raised among them a Messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His communications and

purifying them, and teaching them the Book and the wisdom, although before that they were surely in manifest error.

م�ن ه%و( ق%ل ذ(ا هـ( �ى (ن أ %م ق%ل ت (ي ه(ا م3ث ل Wء ي ش( %ل3 ك ع(ل(ى 1ه( الل �ن� إ %م ك (ن ف%س� أ ع�ند�

Pق(د�ير

[3:165] What! when a misfortune befell you, and you had certainly afflicted (the unbelievers) with twice as much, you began to say: Whence is this? Say: It is from yourselves; surely Allah has power

over all things.


ال ج(م ع(ان� (ق(ى ال ت (و م( ي %م (ك ص(اب) أ و(م(ا

�ين( ال م%ؤ م�ن (م( (ع ل �ي و(ل 1ه� الل �ذ ن� �إ ف(ب

[3:166] And what befell you on the day when the two armies met (at Ohud) was with Allah's

knowledge, and that He might know the believers.


%وا �ل ق(ات (و ا (ع(ال ت (ه%م ل و(ق�يل( (اف(ق%وا ن �ذ�ين( ال (م( (ع ل و(ل ي(م% (ع ل ن (و ل %وا ق(ال اد ف(ع%وا و�

) أ 1ه� الل �يل� ب س( ف�يب% (ق ر( أ Wذ� (و م(ئ ي %ف ر� �ل ك ل ه%م %م (اك (ع ن �ب �ت ال 4 (اال ق�ت

(ي س( ل م�ا (ف و(اه�ه�م �أ ب %ون( (ق%ول ي �يم(ان� �إل ل م�ن ه%م %م%ون( (ك ت ي �م(ا ب (م% (ع ل أ 1ه% و(الل �ه�م %وب ق%ل ف�ي

[3:167] And that He might know the hypocrites; and it was said to them: Come, fight in Allah's way, or defend yourselves. They

said: If we knew fighting, we would certainly have followed you. They were on that day much nearer to unbelief than to belief.

They say with their mouths what is not in their hearts, and Allah best knows what they conceal.


(و ل و(ق(ع(د%وا �ه�م �خ و(ان إل %وا ق(ال �ذ�ين( الع(ن ؤ%وا ف(اد ر( ق%ل %وا �ل ق%ت م(ا (ا (ط(اع%ون أ

ص(اد�ق�ين( %م %نت ك �ن إ ال م(و ت( %م% ك (نف%س� أ

[3:168] Those who said of their brethren whilst they (themselves) held back: Had they obeyed us, they would not have been killed. Say: Then avert

death from yourselves if you speak the truth.


�يل� ب س( ف�ي %وا �ل ق%ت �ذ�ين( ال (ن� ب (ح س( ت ) و(ال3ه�م ب ر( ع�ند( (اء ي (ح أ (ل ب 4ا م و(ات

) أ 1ه� اللق%ون( ز( %ر ي

[3:169] And reckon not those who are killed in Allah's way as dead; nay, they are alive (and) are

provided sustenance from their Lord;


�ه� ف(ض ل م�ن 1ه% الل (اه%م% آت �م(ا ب ف(ر�ح�ين(�ه�م ب (ل ح(ق%وا ي (م ل �ذ�ين( �ال ب ون( ر% (ب ش� ت (س و(يه%م ) و(ال (ي ه�م ع(ل Pخ(و ف � (ال أ ل ف�ه�م خ( م3ن

%ون( ن (ح ز( ي

[3:170] Rejoicing in what Allah has given them out of His grace and they rejoice for the sake of those who, (being left) behind them, have not yet joined them, that they shall have no fear, nor shall they

grieve.


Wو(ف(ض ل 1ه� الل م3ن( Wع م(ة� �ن ب ون( ر% (ب ش� ت (س ي�ين( ال م%ؤ م�ن (ج ر( أ %ض�يع% ي ) ال 1ه( الل (ن� و(أ

[3:171] They rejoice on account of favor from Allah and (His) grace, and that Allah will not

waste the reward of the believers.


م�ن س%ول� و(الر� 1ه� �ل ل %وا اب (ج( ت اس �ذ�ين( ال�ذ�ين( �ل ل ح% ال ق(ر (ه%م% ص(اب

) أ م(ا (ع د� ب Pع(ظ�يم Pج ر) أ �ق(وا و(ات م�ن ه%م %وا ن (ح س( أ

[3:172] (As for) those who responded (at Ohud) to the call of Allah and the Messenger after the

wound had befallen them, those among them who do good (to others) and guard (against evil)shall

have a great reward.


ق(د �اس( الن �ن� إ �اس% الن (ه%م% ل ق(ال( �ذ�ين( الاد(ه%م ف(ز( و ه%م ف(اخ ش( %م (ك ل ج(م(ع%وا �ع م( و(ن 1ه% الل (ا %ن ب ح(س %وا و(ق(ال 4 �يم(انا إ

�يل% ال و(ك

[3:173] Those to whom the people said: Surely men have gathered against you, therefore fear them, but

this increased their faith, and they said: Allah is sufficient for us and most excellent is the

Protector.


�م ل Wو(ف(ض ل 1ه� الل م3ن( Wع م(ة� �ن ب %وا (ب ف(انق(ل1ه� الل ر�ض و(ان( (ع%وا �ب و(ات Pوء س% ه%م (م س(س ي

W ع(ظ�يم Wف(ض ل ذ%و 1ه% و(الل

[3:174] So they returned with favor from Allah and (His) grace, no evil touched them and they followed

the pleasure of Allah; and Allah is the Lord of mighty grace.


(اءه% �ي و ل) أ %خ(و3ف% ي ي ط(ان% الش� %م% �ك ذ(ل �م(ا �ن إ

%م %نت ك �ن إ و(خ(اف%ون� (خ(اف%وه%م ت ) ف(ال�ين( م)ؤ م�ن

[3:175] It is only the Shaitan that causes you to fear from his friends, but do not fear them, and fear

Me if you are believers.


ف�ي ار�ع%ون( %س( ي �ذ�ين( ال نك( (ح ز% ي ) و(ال 4 ي ئا ش( 1ه( الل وا (ض%ر) ي (ن ل �ه%م �ن إ %ف ر� ال كف�ي ح(ظ�ا (ه%م ل (ج ع(ل( ي � (ال أ 1ه% الل %ر�يد% ي

Pع(ظ�يم Pع(ذ(اب (ه%م و(ل ة� اآلخ�ر(

[3:176] And let not those grieve you who fall into unbelief hastily; surely they can do no harm to

Allah at all; Allah intends that He should not give them any portion in the hereafter, and they shall

have a grievous chastisement.


ل(ن �يم(ان� �اإل ب %ف ر( ال ك و%ا (ر( ت اش �ذ�ين( ال �ن� إ Pيم� (ل أ Pع(ذ(اب و(له%م 4ا ي ئ ش( 1ه( الل وا (ض%ر) ي

[3:177] Surely those who have bought unbelief at the price of faith shall do no harm at all to Allah,

and they shall have a painful chastisement.


%م ل�ي ن �م(ا ن) أ وا (ف(ر% ك �ذ�ين( ال (ن� ب (ح س( ي ) و(ال

(ه%م ل %م ل�ي ن �م(ا �ن إ ه�م (نف%س� أل3 Pي ر خ( (ه%م ل Pم)ه�ين Pع(ذ(اب (ه م% و(ل �ث م4ا إ د(اد%وا (ز �ي ل

[3:178] And let not those who disbelieve think that Our granting them respite is better for their souls; We grant them respite only that they may add to

their sins; and they shall have a disgraceful chastisement.

[3:179] On no account will Allah leave the believers in the condition which you are in until He separates the evil from the good; nor is Allah going to make you acquainted with the unseen, but Allah

chooses of His messengers whom He pleases; therefore believe in Allah and His messengers; and if you believe and guard (against

evil), then you shall have a great reward.

[3:180] And let not those deem, who are niggardly in giving away that which Allah has granted them out of His grace,

that it is good for them; nay, it is worse for them; they shall have that whereof they were niggardly made to

cleave to their necks on the resurrection day; and Allah's is the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is

aware of what you do.


�ن� إ %وا ق(ال �ذ�ين( ال ق(و ل( 1ه% الل م�ع( س( �ق(د لم(ا %ب% (ك ت ن س( (اء �ي (غ ن أ (ح ن% و(ن Pف(ق�ير 1ه( الل

ح(ق� �غ(ي ر� ب (اء �ي (نب األ (ه%م% و(ق(ت ل %وا ق(الال ح(ر�يق� ع(ذ(اب( ذ%وق%وا (ق%ول% و(ن

[3:181] Allah has certainly heard the saying of those who said: Surely Allah is poor and we are rich. I will record what they say, and their killing the

prophets unjustly, and I will say: Taste the chastisement of burning.

[3:182] This is for what your own hands have sent before and because Allah is not in the least unjust

to the servants.

[3:183] (Those are they) who said: Surely Allah has enjoined us that we should not believe in any messenger until he brings us an offering which the fire consumes. Say: Indeed, there came to you messengers before me with clear arguments and with that which you demand;

why then did you kill them if you are truthful?

[3:184] But if they reject you, so indeed were rejected before you messengers who came with clear

arguments and scriptures and the illuminating book.


%و(ف�و ن( ت �م(ا �ن و(إ ال م(و ت� �ق(ة% ذ(آئ Wف س) ن %ل) كع(ن� ح ز�ح( ز% ف(م(ن (ام(ة� ال ق�ي (و م( ي %م ك %ج%ور( أ(اة% ي ال ح( و(ما ف(از( ف(ق(د �ة( ن ال ج( %د خ�ل( و(أ �ار� الن

ور� ال غ%ر% (اع% م(ت � �ال إ (ا الد)ن ي

[3:185] Every soul shall taste of death, and you shall only be paid fully your reward on the resurrection day; then

whoever is removed far away from the fire and is made to enter the garden he indeed has attained the object; and the

life of this world is nothing but a provision of vanities.

[3:186] You shall certainly be tried respecting your wealth and your souls, and you shall certainly hear from those

who have been given the Book before you and from those who are polytheists much annoying talk; and if you are patient and guard (against evil), surely this is one of

the affairs (which should be) determined upon.

[3:187] And when Allah made a covenant with those who were given the Book: You shall certainly make it known to men and you shall not hide it; but they cast it behind their backs and took a small price for

it; so evil is that which they buy.


(وا (ت أ �م(ا ب ح%ون( (ف ر( ي �ذ�ين( ال (ن� ب (ح س( ت ) ال ) ف(ال %وا (ف ع(ل ي (م ل �م(ا ب %ح م(د%وا ي (ن أ )ون( ب %ح� و�ي(ه%م و(ل ال ع(ذ(اب� م3ن( Wة �م(ف(از( ب �ه%م (ن ب (ح س( ت

[3:188] Do not think those who rejoice for what they have done and love that they should be praised for what they have not done-- so do by no means think

them to be safe from the chastisement, and they shall have a painful chastisement.

[3:189] And Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and Allah has power over all

things.

[3:190] Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day there are signs for men who understand.

) و(األ م(او(ات� الس��ار� الن ع(ذ(اب( (ا ف(ق�ن (ك( ان ب ح( س% 4 (اط�ال ب ه(ذا

[3:191] Those who remember Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: Our Lord!

Thou hast not created this in vain! Glory be to Thee; save us then from the chastisement of the fire:

[3:192] Our Lord! surely whomsoever Thou makest enter the fire, him Thou hast indeed brought to disgrace, and there shall be no helpers for the

unjust:


�يم(ان� �إل ل (اد�ي %ن ي 4ا (اد�ي م%ن (ا م�ع ن س( (ا �ن �ن إ (ا �ن ب ر�(ا (ن ل ف(اغ ف�ر (ا �ن ب ر( �ا ف(آم(ن %م 3ك ب �ر( ب %وا آم�ن (ن أم(ع( (ا (و(ف�ن و(ت (ا �ن (ات 3ئ ي س( �ا ع(ن (ف3ر و(ك (ا (ن %وب ذ%ن

[3:193] Our Lord! surely we have heard a preacher calling to the faith, saying: Believe in your Lord, so we did believe; Our Lord! forgive us therefore our faults, and cover our evil deeds and make us

die with the righteous.

[3:194] Our Lord! and grant us what Thou hast promised us by Thy messengers; and disgrace us not on the day of resurrection; surely Thou dost not fail

to perform the promise.

) أ Wر) ذ(ك م3ن %م م3نك�يل�ي ب س( ف�ي %وذ%وا و(أ (ار�ه�م د�ي م�ن %خ ر�ج%وا و(أ وا ه(اج(ر%

�ه�م (ات 3ئ ي س( ع(ن ه%م ن� (ف3ر( %ك أل %وا �ل و(ق%ت %وا (ل و(ق(ات4ا (و(اب ث ن ه(ار%

) األ �ه(ا ت (ح ت م�ن (ج ر�ي ت Wات� ن ج( �ه%م (ن ل %د خ� و(أل�و(اب� الث ح%س ن% ع�ند(ه% 1ه% و(الل 1ه� الل ع�ند� م3ن

[3:195] So their Lord accepted their prayer: That I will not waste the work of a worker among you, whether male or female, the one of you being from the

other; they, therefore, who fled and were turned out of their homes and persecuted in My way and who fought and were slain, I will most certainly cover their evil deeds, and I will most certainly make them enter gardens

beneath which rivers flow; a reward from Allah, and with Allah is yet better reward.

[3:196] Let it not deceive you that those who disbelieve go to and fro in the cities fearlessly.

[3:197] A brief enjoyment! then their abode is hell, and evil is the resting-place.

[3:198] But as to those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord, they shall have gardens beneath

which rivers flow, abiding in them; an entertainment from their Lord, and that which is

with Allah is best for the righteous.


و(م(ا 1ه� �الل ب %ؤ م�ن% ي (م(ن ل (اب� �ت ال ك (ه ل� أ م�ن �ن� و(إع�ين( خ(اش� (ي ه�م �ل إ %نز�ل( أ و(م(ا %م (ي ك �ل إ %نز�ل( أ 4 �يال ق(ل 4ا (م(ن ث 1ه� الل (ات� �آي ب ون( (ر% ت (ش ي ) ال 1ه� �ل ل

1ه( الل �ن� إ 3ه�م ب ر( ع�ند( ه%م (ج ر% أ (ه%م ل �ك( ئ ـ( و ل% أ

اب� ال ح�س( ر�يع% س(

[3:199] And most surely of the followers of the Book there are those who believe in Allah and (in) that which has

been revealed to you and (in) that which has been revealed to them, being lowly before Allah; they do not take a small price for the communications of Allah; these it is that have

their reward with their Lord; surely Allah is quick in reckoning.


وا �ر% و(ص(اب وا �ر% اص ب %وا آم(ن �ذ�ين( ال )ه(ا ي) أ (ا ي

�ح%ون( %ف ل ت %م �ك (ع(ل ل 1ه( الل �ق%وا و(ات �ط%وا اب و(ر(

[3:200] O you who believe! be patient and excel in patience and remain steadfast, and be careful of

(your duty to) Allah, that you may be successful.
