Have worked as venue manager, artist manager, media commentator, publicist, social media manager, fi lmmaker, door bitch, roadie, tour manager.
Hold degrees in Behavioral Studies and Education Currently teach at Music Industry College. Previously taught

CLASS ACTIVITIES
A music genre is a categorical and typological construct that identifi es musical sounds as belonging to a particular category and type of music that can be dist inguished from other types of music.
There are a number of criteria often used to classify musical genres including:
The Art/Popular/Tradit ional dist inction (I .e Classical/general public/Folk)
Time period (I .e 60’s rock)
Regional and national dist inctions (I .e Austral ian music can be ‘Austral ian Pub Rock’)
Technique and instrumentation (I .e Rock Music= Guitars/ Dance Music= synthesizers and/or drum machine)
Fusional origins (I .e Blues Rock or Swamp Hip Hop)
Sociological function (I .e Wedding music or Christmas music)

Genre styles include: New Orleans jazz dating from the early 1910s, big band swing, Kansas City jazz and Gypsy jazz from the 1930s and 1940s, bebop from the mid-1940s and on down through West Coast jazz, cool jazz, avant-garde jazz, modal jazz, free jazz, Latin jazz in various forms, soul jazz, jazz fusion and jazz rock, smooth jazz, jazz-funk, punk jazz, acid jazz, ethno jazz, jazz rap, cyber jazz, Indo jazz, M-Base, nu jazz, urban jazz
Unlike classical music, jazz is very loose and fl uid as it has no boundaries
Defi ned by “a special relationship to t ime, defi ned as 'swing ‘with a spontaneity and vital ity of musical production in which improvisation plays a role’
