Accuracy Explained

Accuracy is a HIDDEN stat in the game’s source code to balance unit types, aka, to make any

give unit stronger or weaker against any other specific unit.

The way this works is by affecting how many units are hit and damaged when each unit

attacks.

Page 2: KOC Accuracy explained

The 1 means a unit is equal strength vs that other type of unit, the match up 1 to 1.

(Yellow line with the red ones, the red one is at the crossing of the 2 lines of the same unit)

But a score less than 1 means they do only partial damage vs those types of units because

they are weak vs them. A score over 1 means they are strong vs that type and do more than

the standard base damage vs that type of unit.

But what does it mean?

Let’s take a small snippet of the big chart from above and you can see that if you

follow the line of the archers and go down with the line of the cavalry (Lcav) they

cross at 0.8

Page 3: KOC Accuracy explained

As highlighted in the chart above, Archers normally have an Accuracy rating of 0.8

against cavalry. What this means is if you use 100 archers and attack some

cavalry, only 100 X 0.8 accuracy = 80 of your archers will actually hit the cavalry

with their attacks each round.

Quote “This makes sense because not every one of your archers can be Robin Hood

or Legolas can they? “

If we were to take a throne item at a very low level it is easier to illustrate with the

same sample as above.

Wondrous Throne of Precision +3

• Attack +8.00%

• Life +8.00%

• Range +4.00%

• Range +8.00%

• Accuracy 0.20%

Using the Chair above would increase your Accuracy for all troops by 0.20% now

giving your archers an accuracy rating against the cavalry of 1.0. This means every

one of your archers will now hit their target every round.

There is a limit to the amount you can boost accuracy. The limit is +1

So in the example of archers VS cavalry (Lcav) you can boost archer Accuracy to a

maximum of 0.8 + 1 = 1.8.

At this Accuracy level you basically now have an army of uber archers that are able

to hit multiple targets in each round dealing massive damage.

200,000 archers would then hit 200,000 X 1.8 = 360,000k targets per round.

Page 4: KOC Accuracy explained

There is a limit to the amount you can debuff accuracy, that limit is -0.1

Accuracy caps are value caps, the number listed is the most you can increase or

reduce that stat by. The mysterious Accuracy stat has a value cap (Max Bonus:1

Max Debuff:-0.1). So, if your troop had an Accuracy stat of 1…the most it can

ever be is 2 (1+1)…and the least it can ever be is 0.9 (1 – 0.1). Got it?

Thus in reverse it can be used as well, decreasing the Accuracy of your opponent

and increasing the Accuracy of your own TR. Making your opponent have less

Accuracy, means more of your troops survive, and you are able to kill more of his

troops.

Accuracy in general & specific buffs/debuffs

GENERAL BUFFS/DEBUFFS

- ACCURACY buff Increases the accuracy of all your troops - ACCURACY debuff decreases the accuracy of all enemy troops

SPECIFIC BUFFS/DEBUFFS

- HORSED ACCURACY BONUS increases the accuracy of your horsed troops -

- HORSED ACCURACY BONUS debuff decreases the accuracy of enemy horsed troops

- INFANTRY ACCURACY BONUS increases the accuracy of the infantry troops

- INFANTRY ACCURACY BONUS DEBUFF decreases the accuracy of enemy infantry

- RANGED ACCURACY BONUS increases the accuracy of the ranged troops

- RANGED DEBUFF ACCURACY BONUS decreases the accuracy of enemy ranged troops

- SIEGE ACCURACY increases the accuracy of all siege weapons

- SIEGE ACCURACY DEBUFF decreases the accuracy all of enemy siege weapons

Troop Types

Infantry: Supply Troops, Militiamen, Scouts, Pikemen, Swordsmen, Bloodthorn,

Executioner, Halbedier, Saboteur, Duelist, Foot Soldiers.

Horsed: Cavalry, Heavy Cavalry, Hussar, Sidhe Corruptor, Dragoon

Siege: Wagons, Ballista, Battering Rams, Catapults, Siege Wall, Onagers

SpellCasters: Shield Sorcerer, Toxic Conjurer, Soul Stealer, Plague Doctor, Swamp

Witch, Rot Familiar

Page 7: KOC Accuracy explained

Important NOTES:

1) Spellcaster Accuracy stats are currently KNOWN.

2) Onagers have high Accuracy. An accuracy of 6 vs a lot of troops.

Accuracy in Presets.

(*This is a snippet of a preset, and not the whole preset.)The red arrows highlight the

Accuracy in this preset.

Obviously there is 10.56% Accuracy that affects all your Troops

And -18,96% Accuracy debuff that affects all troops.

There is also -4.74% Ranged accuracy bonus debuff, that affects Ranged troops.

This is stackable, so -18,96% Accuracy debuff + -4.74% Ranged accuracy bonus debuff

= -23.7 Ranged Accuracy debuff. This would only work for RANGED troops (Archers + Flame

Archers + Long Bow Men). In this case you can increase the Accuracy debuff for RANGED

troops even higher.

Debuffing the RANGED troops even more than the rest. (-18.96)

Try To always have or add ACCURACY in your presets. Even though it is

a small VALUE it has however a huge impact in battle(s).

Accuracy in Champion

The Troop buffs from a Victorious Champion are bonus values that are added to

base values. Troop buffs are increased by Throne Room buffs.

So Also via a Champion, you can influence the Accuracy of your troops in positive

& negative buff.

Sharing is knowledge, and a lot of players are not sharing. Yes, it gives you and edge, or advantage, but

it leaves also many people clueless. The objective of these tutorials, is to teach, learn, educate players so ALL players have

a better under understanding of the game. The more players participate, the better the overall experience is for all players.

More attacking and defending means “lively” domains full of activity.
