Masthead designs and name ideasThis style I like because of the effect on the X. I used clipping mask with brushes to make this nice effect over

the top of the text.

I decided to try out some different colours in this one. It looks like there's a graffiti effect on it.

This one looks fairly simple but has the effects of splashed paint on it. It fits in with a rock/edgy feel.

This one stands out well and I like

this name. The white on black

looks good.

This one looks good. It doesn't look to over the top and would go well in a magazine for a wide variety of music styles.

Photo-Shoot and band ideas •Here are some photo shoots that have inspired me for my band photo shoot. I’ve looked into band styles and have chosen these photo-shoot ideas based on the type of band I’d like to use.

My magazine’s reader profile

•I have produced this reader profile for my magazine based on the survey I produced. It includes things my target audience will enjoy and gives a general feel to how my music magazine will be.

What my music magazines about

• My music magazine will be a rock/indie magazine that is aimed at 16-24 year olds. It will focus on people who enjoy this style of music and attend live events. It will appeal to the target audience with its modern/attractive rock/edgy house style. It’s USP will be the varied styles of music it will feature. Readers will enjoy gig reviews and interviews with bands that are up and coming. They will be music lovers who previously would have bought Kerrang or NME.
