Gender Demographic

This suggests how my audience ratio could be more inclined to be female, in a 60:40 ratio.

Age Demographic This highlights how 90% of my potential

target audience could be under 20 –which would follow the conventional target audience of 15-25 years olds to an extent

Employment Demographic

This highlights how, if the 15-25 year old demographic are my potential audience for a Psychological Thriller film, they may not predominantly have a disposable income to be able to spend in cinema. However, an audience can consume a film in more than one way. E.g. NetFlix, LoveFilm, DVD releases, Blu-Ray etc.

Visitation Frequency These results suggest trailers can be persuasive

to my target audience, but that it will need to effective in order to entice them to choose my film to watch on their monthly+ visits to the cinema.

Thus, highlights that the horror/psychological thriller genre of film does have an audience in the 15-25 age demographic.

However, this is only a very basic response rate from people I have asked to complete the survey if they are interested in horror/ psychological thriller. Therefore, I will need to research further into what attracts people to these hybrid genres.
