OUR DIGIPAK COVER IDEAS

We chose to use 6 images on the front of our digipak showing various objects that define our group. The writing in the centre of the 6 images will show some lyrics or something that defines our group.

This is a rough design of how we would like to design our digipak cover. The colour again shows the femininity in the group but the bold font and colour draws in the target audience . The different images outline the groups personality and the style .

Ideas for the colour

We could use other colours to define the group as an all female band or a band the promotes girl power.

A golden colour will show feminine aspects but also maturity.

Pink would define the group as feminine but wouldn’t reflect the street

style of the group.

Red is a bold colour and would attract the audience however it wouldn’t represent the girl band in any way.

These are some ideas for the design of the name of the band. Using a style and design that will attract the target audience and define the group is crucial for the design of our digipak.

Our final idea will have to captivate and appeal to our target audience and it will have to stand out. It should also reflect the group as this will help define the type of music produced and the style of the band. Research has shown that RnB covers typically have some kind of formation so this will also have to be thought about when designing our digipack cover. The way we present the girl band through the image is important as we need to sell the artist according to the record label and the genre of music.
