Weekend dedicated to local products March, 16

A long weekend to spend in this wonderful corner of Sicily in contact with nature, to discover local products

and local recipes with our chef Angelo Pumilia, who will involve you in preparing many delicious recipes.

Program:

Friday, March 16th

From 2pm Arrival and check-in.

Free time dedicated to relax: Turkish bath, bicycle trip

along the bicycle path that connects Menfi to Porto

Palo

8pm Welcome drink

8,30pm Welcome dinner including the “The Chef’s Choice” wine

selection, 3 glasses at hoc chosen specifically for the

menu.

Saturday, March 17th

Day dedicated to the winery and local products

Morning Visit to the open-air market of Menfi

to buy local products;

11 am visit to the Planeta winery and vineyard; the visit is

followed by a tasting of 4 wines, accompanied by

bread-sticks; a tasting of Planeta extra-virgin olive oil.

Then a light lunch with local products.

Afternoon Return to La Foresteria with a stop to harvest oranges

and artichokes

8 pm Aperitif

8:30 pm Dinner including the “From the heart to the

vineyard” wine selection, 4 different wines matched to

the menu plus 1 extra glass to explain different

varieties and territories.

Sunday, March 18th

We cook at home: with the ingredients bought the day before, cooking class together with chef Angelo Pumilia

1 pm Lunch (wines not included)

Afternoon Relax and late check out

Long program (from Friday to Sunday):

- 2 overnight stays with breakfast

- 1 dinner including “The Chef’s Choice” wine selection

- 1 dinner including the “From the heart to the vineyard” wine selection

- 1 lunch at La Foresteria (wines not included)

- Tour of our winery with wine tasting and light lunch (wines included)

- Cooking class

Prices: € 720 for 2 persons in classic double room

€ 389 for 1 person in classic single room

Children aged 0 to 3 years stay for free in the room with 2 adults

Children aged 3 to 12 years old in Superior room with 2 adults € 110
