Polio plus update “根除小儿麻痹症”计划• In 1979 Rotary International and the government of the Philippines

launched a joint five-year effort to immunize around 6 million children against polio at a cost of about $760,000. 1797年,国际扶轮社联合菲律宾政府,经过五年的努⼒力,耗资76万美元,帮助约600万患病⼉儿童进⾏行免疫接种。

• 1985 Feb 23 Rotary launched Polio Plus campaign to rid the world of polio. 1985年2⽉月23⽇日,扶轮基⾦金会发起“根除⼩小⼉儿⿇麻痹症”运动,为世界“根除⼩小⼉儿⿇麻痹症”尽⼀一份⼒力量。

• Rotary has contributed more than $1.3 billion and countless volunteer hours to protect more than 2 billion children worldwide. Donor governments have contributed $10B 扶轮社捐款已超过13亿美元,并派遣⼤大量志愿者帮助世界上超过20亿的⼉儿童抵抗疾病,捐助政府捐款共计100亿美元。
