Mandy Davis, PhD, LCSW, MSW, BSSWCo-Director, Trauma-Informed Oregon, Portland State UniversityMandy Davis, PhD is the Clinical Director for the Trauma Informed Care project and Co-Director for Trauma Informed Oregon at the Regional Research Institute at Portland State Universitys School of Social Work. Ms. Davis specializes in providing training, consultation, and supervision to systems, organizations, and providers on topics related to implementing trauma informed care and trauma-specific services. Ms. Davis has over 20 years of experience working with survivors of trauma of all ages through individual and group interventions. She is currently focused on strategies for organizations and multi-system groups to apply trauma informed practices and policies, teaching and training about trauma informed care across disciplines, and developing trauma informed supervision models.Mandy will present Trauma Informed Care 101 on April 29, 2:45-4:45 pm.

State Prevention Updates
All PG Prevention Coordinators should be familiar with the Substance Abuse and Problem Gambling Programs Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 415-056-0030 415-056-0050, and Service Element (SE) 80 language. These two documents provide the guidelines and required program elements that are mandatory for providing problem gambling prevention services. SE 80 is included in the contract between your organization and HSD.
New Problem Gambling materials will be available soon for distribution!

State Treatment UpdatesCANCELED Treatment Call: March 2nd from 3-4. Greta recently applied and got accepted to a SAMHSA Behavioral Health Leadership Development Program Emerging Leaders program and must attend an in person meeting in Maryland on March 2nd.
Due to the April Focus on the Future Conference and April All Provider Webinar, our next treatment call will be on May 4th from 3-4:30.
GPMS forms have been updated as of February 1, 2016. Please start using the revised forms immediately. All updated GPMS forms can be found on the Oregonpgs web page at: http://www.oregonpgs.org/treatment-resources/
