Dr. Mohannad Barakat is a respected surgeon with special expertise in the field of trauma, orthopaedics and spinal surgery. He has successfully performed a large number of surgeries in his career. He is competent in all aspects of trauma surgery including the simple ones to the most complex of trauma cases.
Over the years, he has performed all emergency trauma surgeries, external fixation and frame ring fixation for fractures, hip fractures, long bone fractures, humeral fractures, all paediatric fractures, ankle fractures, all hand and knee fractures and others.
A seasoned professional, Dr. Mohannad Barakat is involved with the teaching and examination of students, junior and senior doctors at various stages of their education, allied professionals, and theatre staff at a local, national, and international level.
He has the Oxford Teaching the Teachers Certificate, and is an examiner on the Miller FRCS course. He is a reviewer for the British Medical Journal, Journal of Joint and Bone Surgery and the European of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology.
