Forever Yours,

A Season for Caring and Sharing

Season’s Greetings everyone! The holidays are just around the corner; the seasons are changing and leaves are starting to fall – what a wonderful time of the year!

As we all know, this is the season for caring and sharing. While different cultures around the world have their own traditions for celebrating the holidays, we all have one thing in common...this is a time when we come together to celebrate the spirit of giving.

Most of you have probably read or heard about the classic novel by Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol. If you recall, the main character, Ebenezer Scrooge, was a wealthy businessman who only cared about himself and his own success. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge rebuffed two men collecting donations for the poor, he turned down an invitation to have dinner with his nephew, and he begrudgingly gave his loyal employee, Bob Cratchit, Christmas Day off to spend with his wife and disabled son Tiny Tim. Scrooge’s famed ‘Bah Humbug’ attitude earned him a reputation around town as a lonely, miserly man. Yet after a visit by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future to show him how miserable life is when all you care about is yourself, Scrooge experienced a great change of heart. He realized that true happiness comes when you put others before yourself, and this gained him a new reputation as a kind and generous man who embodies the giving spirit of the holidays.

As Distributors, we have the ability to bring happiness to others. I have seen, repeatedly, how our fabulous opportunity and marvelous products have changed lives throughout the world. Share this opportunity with others so that you, too, can bring them hope, health, prosperity and the opportunity to pass it along.

The key to building a successful Forever business is to put the needs and desires of others before your own. Because as you work with your downline Distributors and help them achieve their goals, you will ultimately help to make the holiday season special for those around you; and remember, the opportunity of Forever Living is Forever giving!

relAxAtion BAth SAltS: Combine legendary Dead Sea Salt, Lavender and other essential oils, and you’ve got a ‘health spa’ in a bottle. The Dead Sea is renowned for its restorative properties. Unlike other bath salts, Dead Sea Salts have high concentrations of a wide variety of minerals. It is these minerals that are sought after the world over for their rejuvenating abilities. These qualities were once reserved for the lucky few who could travel to the Dead Sea or who could afford visits to European-style spas. Instead, just add two tablespoons of Relaxation Bath Salts to your bath and breathe in the aroma “therapy” of lavender while the salts work their magic. No reservations required!

relAxAtion Shower Gel: Apply this fragrant shower gel directly to your bath water or your skin for a relaxing and skin-soothing experience. Relaxation Shower Gel is formulated with the moisturizing and soothing power of aloe vera. Aloe vera can add a rich supply of building materials to help maintain healthy skin due to its content of essential amino acids. Combined with essential oils and fruit extracts including Lavender, Bergamot Orange and Cucumber, you will enjoy a full sensory experience. Use Relaxation Shower Gel with our very own loofah to help remove dead skin cells and reveal its moisturizing, skin-silkening power.

relAxAtion mASSAGe lotion: Our new Relaxation Massage Lotion will leave you feeling pampered from head to toe, all without leaving your home. We’ve taken the skin-conditioning benefits of Aloe Vera, essential oils from the aromatic blossom of Bergamot Orange Fruit, White Tea and fruit extracts and the restorative properties of Lavender to create this emollient, non-greasy massage lotion. Your skin will drink in its nutritive powers and you’ll love its fresh scent. Apply directly after bathing or showering to help protect and moisturize your skin. You will feel its permeating effects all day long!

So take the plunge into this collection of spa products and create that restorative environment you desire. This is your time to relax and renew.

Forever Fit

We have worked hard at our jobs, eaten nutritious foods, exercised regularly, and gotten plenty of restful sleep. Now, the last few weeks of the year are here, with holiday celebrations that seem specially designed to throw us off course and into unhealthy habits like excessive eating, drinking, and spending. Sometimes it’s all we can do to survive the holidays, much less enjoy them.

Armed with that knowledge, now is the time to start planning the season that will be different from years past when we may have gained 10 pounds, spent $1000 we didn’t have, or got in a fight with family members about who was going to make dessert. This year we know how to make or break the celebration, so we can plan ahead to make the holidays a time to thrive.

One reason we often slip into bad habits during the holidays is because we experience additional stress related to busier schedules, heightened expectations, and limited resources. When stress is already at its height we have a much harder time turning it around. It is better to try to prevent stress from happening in the first place, especially if we know the holidays have taken an emotional toll in previous years.

Here are 10 tips for making this holiday season the best yet.

1. Plan ahead. Think back through several years of holiday memories. Which were the most enjoyable? Which were the most difficult? Make a list of events you would like to recreate and events you would like to avoid.

2. Be realistic. We are sold an image of family gatherings and celebrations that involve lavish parties, expensive decorations, and endless supplies of gifts. We see images of close families and extended families gathering from across continents. Since these images are often very far from reality, think about what your celebrations will truly look like. Scale back parties, decorations and gifts so that they are more meaningful and manageable. If seeing loved ones is not an option, plan other ways to celebrate together such as sharing photos or letters.

3. Set differences aside. Use the holidays to practice forgiveness, acceptance, and charitable acts towards others.

4. Stick to a budget. Decide what you will spend before you go shopping.

5. learn to say no. While it is a natural impulse to agree to every request made of us, especially during the busy holiday season, put some thought into whether or not you can actually fit such requests into your schedule. Think about how important the request is to you and how important it is to the person who is making it. Practice saying no whenever it is reasonable to do so.

The statements contained herein have not been evaluated by the FDA. The products discussed are not intended to diagnose, mitigate, treat, cure or prevent a specific disease or class of diseases. You should consult your family physician if you are experiencing a medical problem.

6. rest. Try to get eight hours of sleep each night. Whenever possible, go to bed at a set hour and get up at a set hour. If you have trouble falling asleep, try a pre-sleep ritual using the products from the Aroma Spa Collection (#285). Soak with Relaxation Bath Salts, cleanse with Relaxation Shower Gel, and soothe with Relaxation Massage Lotion for the ultimate in-home spa experience.

7. take a breather. Be sure to take some time for yourself each day, even if it is just 15 minutes to write in a journal or take a quick nap. One great way to relax is to brew a cup of Aloe Blossom herbal tea® (#200), with cinnamon and ginger, fragrant cloves, soothing allspice, zesty orange peel, cardamom, fennel, chamomile, blackberry leaf, and gymnema sylvestre.

8. rethink resolutions. Limit the number of resolutions you make. Don’t make sweeping generalizations about the changes you need to make in your life. Often, resolutions are rooted in self-criticism—we dream about changing ourselves without really considering what changes would most benefit our lives. Before making any resolutions, examine what is good in your life and go from there.

9. exercise. Even a 30-minute walk each day will add long-term benefits such as weight control and decreased stress. Add stretching and strength training for balanced fitness. Six weeks is enough time to train to run a 5k or do a special outdoor hike. Need energy to help you get out the door? Try Forever royal Jelly® (#036). Give your energy and metabolism a boost. Forever Royal Jelly contains trace amounts of protein, minerals, vitamins A, C, D, E and B complex, all 8 essential amino acids, plus enzymes and other nutrients.

10. eat nutritious foods. Eating right is all about balance. If we eat fat and sugar, our bodies will be made of fat and sugar. If we eat whole foods like fruits, vegetables, lean protein and whole grains, our bodies will be full of vitamins and minerals and proteins. To help you make sure you are getting all the nutrients you need, try Forever B12 Plus® with Folic Acid (#188). Vitamin B12 and folic acid combine in this time-release formula to help support metabolic processes, including cell division, DNA synthesis, red blood cell production and proper nerve function, while helping to reduce homocysteine levels.

While we all have the best intentions of making it through the holidays healthy and happy, we also know those plans can easily be derailed. Taking a few proactive steps can guarantee that your last few weeks of the year are stress-free. Let this holiday season be the stuff memories are made of. With a little extra planning, you can avoid stress and foster happiness just in time for a new year!

Forever Living Products’ Distributor Support Department had the opportunity to share a warm meal and conversation with the residents of the Ronald McDonald House® in Phoenix, Arizona. For over 35 years, the Ronald McDonald House® has been working with families all over the world. These families find themselves in the unexpected situation of having a child with a serious health condition who must travel to seek specialized treatment. The organization was created with the purpose of offering a home-away-from-home to the families during their greatest time of need.

Contrary to most expectations, the Ronald McDonald House® is not affiliated with the McDonalds® restaurant chain. Instead, it is strictly a non-profit organization supported by volunteers and funded by donations from individuals and companies.

With such a remarkable cause and always in need of volunteers, our team was drawn to assisting such a great organization. So on Saturday, October 4, the Distributor Support Department (also known as the ‘Forever Team’) came together and made a home-cooked Italian dinner which included manicotti, spaghetti with meatballs, lasagna, garlic bread, salad, and dessert, in an attempt to relieve some of the load off these families and hopefully uplift their spirits. Approximately 30 individuals joined us that night; in return, their stories reminded us of the unpredictability of life and the strength that lies inside us. We never know what life will offer us, so it is important to enjoy every moment, appreciate what we have, know that at any moment our luck can change, and learn how to handle what’s thrown our way.

As you know, Forever Living is forever giving, and it was an honor to be a little part of something big. Not only did we have the opportunity to help those in need, but we also had a chance to work together in a very different setting. As a team, we would like to thank the Ronald McDonald House® for allowing us to join them, Sylvia Trevino for organizing the event, and a special thanks to our one and only Bill Lewis for helping to make it possible!

If you would like to learn more about the Ronald McDonald House® Charities or if you would like to make a donation, you may visit them on the web at: www.rmhc.org. And remember -- the Power of Forever is the Power of Love!

MISS INDIAN ARIzONA AND ThE SONyA COLOuR COLLECTION

The Miss Indian Arizona Association, in cooperation with the Inter-Tribal Council of Arizona, held the 47th Annual Miss Indian Arizona Scholarship Program on October 11, 2008 at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Chandler, Arizona.

The Miss Indian Arizona Association is a non-profit organization under the sponsorship of the Inter-Tribal Council of Arizona. Association members work throughout the year to raise funds to produce the Scholarship Program, which provides scholarships to young American Indian women, allowing them to pursue their educational goals.

‘The Enduring Spirit of Indian Women’ was the theme for this proud Arizona Inter-Tribal program, which is one of the longest and most continuous events in the nation. The Miss Indian Arizona Scholarship Program gives young Indian women an opportunity to reach all mediums of life, to educate and to learn. The participants present a blend of tribal cultures and traditions to a large audience. The program brings to life the dress, songs, dance, stories, wisdom, humor, and living essence of the Indian people of Arizona. Miss Indian Arizona serves as the ambassador for all Tribes of Arizona.

This year, Miss Earleen Patricio, Tohono O’odham, was crowned the new winner. Earleen Patricio is the 19-year old daughter of Gloria Zazueta. Her family includes four brothers and sisters. She hails from the Tohono O’odham Nation in Sells, Arizona. She is a 2008 graduate of Baboquivari High School and is presently attending ITT Technology working toward a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology. She hopes to complete her degree by 2011. Earleen’s personal goal is to be a young, successful

Native American woman living a very independent life. In high school, she was class president for three years and also active in Future Farmers of America. On the national level, she recited the FFA creed in her native language at the national convention. In January 2009, Earleen will attend the Presidential Inauguration with the FFA. Her hobbies include horseback riding, competing in rodeos, reading, listening to music, photography, and playing a traditional sport called Toka (similar to Hockey). Earleen’s platform is to target young Native American women. She hopes to encourage them to learn their traditions and culture, to be able to speak their native languages, and to one day compete for honorary titles such as Miss Indian Arizona. This year’s winners also included:

• 1st Attendant: Emerald Dahozy - Navajo • 2nd Attendant: Christina Betom - San Carlos Apache• Talent: Emerald Dahozy - Navajo• Evening Wear: Robyn Masten - Salt River Pima Maricopa • Essay Award: Kelly Whitman - Gila River Indian Community• Community Service Award: Christina Betom - San Carlos Apache• Miss Congeniality: Earleen Patricio, Tohono O’odham

During Pageant Week, The Sonya Colour Collection introduced the contestants to the wonderful world of Sonya and Forever Living Products. Each contestant participated in a ‘hands on’ skincare and makeup application class and took home their favorite Sonya® Palette. The winner also received a beautiful aloe vera gift basket generously donated by FLP. During the year, Miss Indian Arizona will travel throughout the state of Arizona visiting and participating in many tribal pageants and ceremonies. Congratulations to all of the young women who participated in this year’s Scholarship Program. Each one of them truly demonstrates the Enduring Spirit of Indian Women.

5-Year Employee “Wow! Five years with Forever Living Products! I truly feel blessed. I remember the first impression I got when I walked up to the building - what a gorgeous building! Also, dealing with people from different parts of the world by phone or in person has truly been an experience. And the FLP employees have been considerate of relieving me when needed, or asking me if I need a drink - no other company would do that for me. That says a lot about what a friendly and warm place FLP is. I want to thank Navaz for the opportunity to work for FLP and for her friendly support, and to congratulate Rex for building such a prestigious company.”—Susan Gomba, Receptionist

15-Year Employee“What a wonderful experience it has been working with Forever Resorts. I still remember my first day at the Home Office location in Tempe. I was excited to begin working with Don Wallace, an individual who like Rex, is known for his attention to quality and detail. I was anxious about working with the nine resort destinations that encompassed Forever Resorts, but prepared for the challenge. Today, with 41 resort destinations in the United States and 27 international resort destinations, Rex has continued to expand his love of the outdoors and provide wonderful vacation opportunities to countless visitors around the world. It has indeed been an exciting 15 years working with such a visionary individual. I’m grateful to work with Don Wallace and fortunate to consider him a mentor and a friend. I feel proud to have contributed to the success of Forever Resorts and look forward to our exciting future ahead.”—Jack Biehl, Retail Operations Specialist, Resorts

Dreams Come True!I learned about this company and Forever Living’s aloe vera products in April 2006 when I was experiencing serious health issues. In the beginning, I did not believe in the products and was skeptical, but I thought that I would try them anyway. The results were excellent!

At that time I was also struggling financially, with expenses piling up, and I was living just one day at a time. I couldn’t even make decisions regarding money, and my finances were a total disaster.

When I first learned about these products I was wary, since I had already tried other companies that sold nutritional products. I was not sure that I could trust another one. However, I felt the need to know more about Forever Living, and it was not hard to find what I was truly looking for.

In the next two years I achieved the levels that took me to the position of Manager, and I taught my Distributors to do the same. By helping them reach their goals, I have achieved my current level of Soaring Manager.

I realized that I had to take the following steps to achieve success:

1. Give others the opportunity that I was given.2. As a team, set long- and short-term goals together.3. Work hard as a team to achieve these goals.

One of the greatest benefits I have received is better health. I have also bought a brand new car. In addition, during my first year in the business I had the joy of qualifying for the Profit Share incentive. All of these are blessings from God and they are due to the hard work and great effort of our team. I can now manage my time better, I have independence, I can dedicate more time to my family, and I am building a home in my native country.

I have many goals for the future and I plan to achieve them one by one. For now, I am aiming for the Profit Share incentive and the level of Sapphire Manager. One of my dreams has always been to travel around the world and I know that with FLP this is possible.

I want to tell you that in this life anything is possible if you try hard. God has given us an incredible capacity to achieve things. Why not take advantage of this through Forever Living?! This is a company that pays attention to our needs, offers a variety of opportunities, and helps us to make our dreams come true!

Dedication of 500th forever Houseboat Lake Powell, Arizona – A milestone and dedication was celebrated on October 21st when Rex and Ruth Maughan, Dr. Joe Shirley, President of the Navajo Nation, Stan Austin, Superintendent of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, and Steve Carothers, General Manager of Antelope Point Marina, assembled along with John Schoppmann and the management team of Forever Resorts. The group gathered at Lake Powell to dedicate the 500th houseboat built for the Forever Resorts fleet of luxury rental houseboats.

Fun Country Marine Industries in Muncie, Indiana, a Forever Resort, builds the custom-designed Forever Houseboats exclusively for rental at 13 locations across the U.S. In September, the factory had a send-off celebration with the team who builds the houseboats for the fleet.

Commissioner Thomas Easterly, Indiana Department of Environmental Management, presented Matt Harvey, General Manager of Fun Country Marine Industries, a special recognition as one of only 11 businesses in the State of Indiana that is demonstrating environmental excellence in their business practices.

This 500th houseboat was designed for houseboaters who enjoy the finer aspects of the houseboat rental adventure. This beautiful houseboat is a lengthy 75-foot by 18-foot wide with 6 private staterooms, 2 ½ baths, LCD Flat Screen TV with Blue Ray and Direct TV Satellite Service in living room, upper and front deck and in each stateroom, a 7-person hot tub on the upper deck, two large refrigerators, chest freezer, boarding ramp, GPS Satellite system, solar inverter panels, plus many other touches.

Forever Resorts rents houseboats across the U.S and has many vacation choices and price ranges to experience the fun of houseboating. For additional information visit: www.ForeverHouseboats.com.

“We are very excited to have achieved the Earned Incentive for the third time. We are proud to be a part of the FLP family since August 1980. We have seen tremendous health benefits with these great products. FLP provides top quality products you can depend on. A special thank you to Rex Maughan; our Vice President of Northern Sales, Carl Zander; and our RSDs, Joe & Ruth Miller, for all of their help and support. We also want to thank God for all of our great downline people. Thank you all!”—Alvin & emma lambright, sponsored by Alice & Ken Schaefer, LEVEL THREE

“We would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to our sponsor. Without him, we could not imagine that some day we would stand on the stage of FLP. We want to say thanks to Gregg Maughan, Harold Greene, Bill Lewis, and Elizabeth Serre as well; thanks for your help and silent support. At last we want to thank our team members who trust and support us all the time. Earned Incentive Level 3 is a milestone rather than a reward for us. It reminds us that we need a new goal. In FLP we set our goals and reach them. At the same time we achieve our goals, we help other people achieve their goals. We are fully confident that we can change other people’s lives just as our sponsor changed our life. Last year, after we qualified for the President’s Club, our annual team sales increased by 50%. Do you know the reason? Because we believe our dream in FLP, we set our goals and we make them.Today, we promise to all those who trust and help us that our team sales will keep growing. As the No. 1 Distributors in Canada, we urge all Canadian Distributors to dedicate themselves to make Canada among the Top 10 in the world. We are confident that we will make it!”—Di wu & Fan Zhang, sponsored by James Kuo, LEVEL THREE

We would like to give our deepest thanks to Rex Maughan and everyone at Forever Living; we could not ask for a better company to work with! Many, many thanks to our wonderful downlines; we could not have accomplished this without everyone’s hard work and teamwork. We owe much of our success to you and we cannot give enough thanks. Also, thank you to our upline Willie Hsu and Sylvie Tan, whose help and support we could not have done without. Another thank you to all the Distributors of the FLP family. We admire the hard work and encouragement that all the teams across the world provide to each other and always look to you to continue our progression. I want to help all my downlines to achieve the Manager level. This is my goal! There are no secrets in the Forever business - just keep working hard and never give up!”—mui ma & hung ma, sponsored by Bill C. & Sylvie Tan, LEVEL THREE

CALIFORNIANight of Eagles Event

On September 23rd, more than 200 enthusiastic Distributors gathered for our Night of the Eagles Recognition Rally. The theme was Americana with red, white and blue decorations and everyone dressed in patriotic colors. Our Regional Vice President, David Anderson, led the way by wearing his Stars and Stripes attire. Our daughter, Heather Nitta, started off the event with a rousing vocal performance. Afterwards David gave an inspirational message and was surprised when he was presented a candlelit birthday cake and was serenaded with the traditional Happy Birthday song. There were large groups of Distributors recognized for their advancement in the marketing program and they were all greeted by great applause and congratulations. We also recognized our "Lean Team" in Los Angeles for all of those Distributors who committed themselves to follow the Forever Nutri-Lean program. Lupita Luis was the top weightloss winner at 27.5 pounds lighter - and she is keeping it off! The final recognition was given to Elvira and Roberto Ruiz for achieving more than 5,000 case credits this past year and for earning one of the largest Profit Sharing Checks in the FLP world! Also recognized were Jaime and Lydia Herrera, Marco and Milagro Dubon, Lucila and Arturo Ballardo, Frank and Lucy Hwang, and Ruben Arellano who qualified for the past Silver Post Rally Tour by achieving more than 2,500 case credits for the past year!It was a terrific night of celebration with everyone in attendance feeling super charged to continue to "Soar with the Eagles."—rick & Kim nitta, RSDs Area 610; Los Angeles, CA

Led by Donna Levy from the Home Office, and arranged by the Montreal ASMs, they fully engaged in the training, enjoying this unique opportunity to learn interesting and useful new tips to quickly demonstrate the products. Together with the Montreal area participants, they had a great time applying the Sonya Skin Care and Sonya Colour Collection products on one another. One new Distributor, Aurora Ionescu, was thrilled to serve as one of Donna’s models – receiving the beautiful benefits of Donna’s skill and artistry in ‘transforming’ her face with the Sonya Glamour Showcase. On behalf of all the Ottawa attendees, we extend our sincere appreciation to Donna for this much-anticipated training experience, and to Eva, Nick and all the Montreal Distributors for so warmly welcoming the Ottawa group. Take care Donna, and thank you! —lothar Klimpel, ASM Area 493; Ottawa, Canada

MONTREALSonya TrainingWe would like to thank Donna Levy, Harold Greene, and FLP for giving us the wonderful opportunity to learn from the ‘best’ about Sonya from Sales Development Manager, Donna Levy. With 50 people listening and taking notes, there was a lot of excitement and energy in the room and nobody wanted to go home! We are eager to learn more. Montreal is ready to fly, and to make Sonya and FLP wildly known in our community. Thank you again on behalf of all the Distributors in our area and from our Ottawa guests who came to participate in this event.—Angelika & nicholas Szidiropulosz, ASMs Area 571; Montreal, Canada

MaNager & BeYoNd

Our two-day intensive and exclusive Manager and Beyond Training Seminar took place last month here in beautiful Arizona. Our Managers had the opportunity to receive instruction on recruiting, training, incentives and hear success stories of the world’s top FLP achievers. This ultimate training within the Forever Business Academy was reserved exclusively for Recognized Managers who have the determination to do better in their business.

After their first day’s intensive training, the Managers enjoyed a fun-filled evening. After the Home Office tour everyone ventured on to Rawhide, a replica of a western town complete with gunslingers, miners panning for gold and sizzling steaks on the grill. After the authentic cowboy dinner, everyone enjoyed walking around the town where attractions included: stuntmen, horse-back riding, rock climbing, mechanical bulls, and hay-wagon rides. Best of all, everyone shopped on Main Street for western clothing and souvenirs.

The following morning began with eagerness and an enthusiasm to learn more. Topics covered by the VPs included: advanced sponsoring techniques used for recruiting and training their group, as well as leadership principles and Manager Incentives. During our luncheon event, we heard courageous and personal stories of success from the lives of our Managers, which motivated and inspired us all!

After a phenomenal seminar, we presented each one of our Managers with a personalized Forever Business Academy Diploma.

If you did not have the opportunity to join us this time around, please watch for the announcement of our upcoming Seminars in 2009. We look forward to seeing you!

NEW DISTRIBUTOR PRICINGOver the last few years, we have been listening to the feedback of our Distributors in regard to maintaining the integrity of our retail business. At FLP, we are committed to protecting this additional source of income. We believe in the power of retail. Therefore, we are excited to announce the introduction of New Distributor Pricing.

This new pricing structure was designed to motivate each new Distributor to move to the Assistant Supervisor level as soon as possible, while ensuring an immediate income source for you and your upline.

As of January 1, 2009 any Distributor at the Distributor level must purchase directly from FLP at the New Distributor Price. The New Distributor Price (NDP) is based upon a 15% discount off the suggested Retail price of any product. Those at the Distributor level will purchase at the NDP until they reach the position of Assistant Supervisor or above. The difference between the NDP and the Wholesale price will be paid to the first Assistant Supervisor or above in the upline.

New Distributor Price1. This program will initially be released only in the United States and Canada. 2. This program affects all purchases by Distributors as of January 1, 2009. 3. An order will be priced in its entirety. Therefore, if a particular order or combination of orders exceeds the 2 case credits that are required for move-up to Assistant Supervisor, the pricing of the entire order will be based on the NDP. Any overpayment will be refunded to the purchasing Distributor. 4. If you have not yet reached Assistant Supervisor or above within the Marketing Plan, when a customer places a retail order that is credited to your distributorship, you will receive the difference between the Retail price and the NDP. The difference between the NDP and Wholesale price will be paid to the first Assistant Supervisor or above in your upline.

If you have any additional questions please contact your local RSD or ASM.
