So when I first started my network marketing journey, I was so pumped that I pretty much letthe business run me instead of me run the business.
If you find that you have become a slave to your business, here are 7 tips for setting yourselffree and for sharing with your team members.
1. Set a schedule
Set working hours for your business and stick to them. Although I have to say, in networkmarketing, you should always be in prospecting and relationship building mode. Even so, seta schedule for when you will do business building activities and stick to your schedule.
2. Log Off!
In this age of social media and alwayson marketing, sometimes it’s easy to get caught up intrying to build your network marketing business online. You then find yourself on the
computer 24/7. Don’t get stuck in the online world! Unless your business is InternetMarketing, turn off that computer and try some offline building methods.
3. Delegate
Don’t be a doitall. Delegate often. Find people to do the small mundane tasks for your.Focus on business building activities and tasks that will grow your business. You can still bein control of everything, without actually doingeverything!
4. Use available resources
Do not reinvent the wheel. If there are presentations, product descriptions, articles, etcalready available from your company which you can utilize in your business – use them!Otherwise, you’ll spend hours and hours creating material that’s already there for you.
5. Let someone else do the accounting
I don’t worry about my bookkeeping anymore! The less you have to worry about, the lesschance that you will become enslaved in your business. This is an area where I was totallyhooked. Letting the books go freed up time for me to concentrate on the 2 things that mattermost – recruiting and retailing. Every minute counts!
6. Have systems in place
And I mean have one in place for everything. For getting new team members started, forprospecting, for doing presentations, for doing 3way calls, for everything. Having a systemin place will help you run your business more efficiently. In most cases, your company orteam will already have systems in place that you can leverage.
7. Have Fun!
You should be having fun in your business. After all, you’re building relationships andhelping people create an additional income stream. If you’re not having fun, then that isdefinitely a sign that you are becoming a slave to your business.
