ABOUT COLLEGE

The BAJA SAE Series® is an event for the undergraduate engineering students,organized globally by the Society of Automotive Engineers International.

The Event takes place in SIX different countries – USA, Mexico, South Africa, Korea,Brazil and India

AIM :-

The Goal in Baja SAE racing is to DESIGN, BUILD and RACE OFF- ROAD vehiclesthat can withstand the harshest elements of rough terrain. The vehicles used inBaja SAE racing are often similar in appearance to dune buggies.

TOM-CAR VIKINGS was born in 2009, in the premises of IITE by a group of

AUTOMOBILE and MECHANICAL undergraduates, who like many others in the

country for the first time were taking up a challenge to build an ATV for the event.

Since then, we have come a long way, having made continuous and consistent

appearances at the annual BAJA SAE INDIA event, gaining valuable Experience

And Knowledge.

And now we are ready to make the next step of our 4 years of achievements
