Launch  Program  

   Launch  is  our  accelerator  for  early-­‐stage  startups.    It  is  an  intensive,  12-­‐week  long  program  that  turns  dreamers  into  founders.  

Schedule  Launch  is  delivered  in  a  series  of  two-­‐week  long,  themaHc  segments.  These  themes  cover  the  core  components  required  to  build  strong  startups.    Weeks  1  &  2:  Business  Modeling  Weeks  3  &  4:  Valida6ng  customer  and  problem  hypotheses  Weeks  5  &  6:  Building  and  delivering  your  offer  Weeks  7  &  8:  Designing  and  building  your  minimum  viable  product  Weeks  9  &  10:  Becoming  investor-­‐ready  Weeks  11  &  12:  Preparing  to  pitch    

A  segment  detailing  legal  advice,  as  well  as  a  day-­‐long  session  of  Sandler  Training  in  sales  are  also  included.    

 

Themes  The  themes  covered  by  the  Launch  program  are  explored  through  a  variety  of  formats:  •  One-­‐to-­‐one  coaching  sessions  (Max  of  5)  •  Fireside  chats  with  mentors  and  fellow  par6cipants  •  Webinars  •  Video  lessons  •  Homework  

Benefits  Over  the  12-­‐week  cycle  parHcipants  take  their  business  through  4  iteraHons.  Each  iteraHon  is  evaluated  and  reviewed  in  coaching  sessions  and  fireside  chats.      

As  a  result  of  this  intensive,  repeated  process  of  evaluaHon  and  revision,  parHcipants  hone  in  on  their  core  offering.  The  result  is  a  lean  startup,  primed  for  success.    

Loca6on  Launch  is  held  in  cooperaHon  with  our  partner  organizaHons  across  AtlanHc  Canada.  ParHcipants  must  be  able  to  aVend  the  sessions  in  person:

Comple6on  Following  successful  compleHon  of  Launch,  alumni  are  eligible  to  apply  for  a  $15,000  Futurepreneur  loan.      More  funding  opportuni.es  to  be  announced  shortly…  

Fees  The  cost  of  the  Launch  program  is  $5000.  This  is  only  payable  following  compleHon  of  the  program,  and  then  only  if  the  parHcipant  has  successfully  secured  outside  investment.      

Working  space  within  our  partner  organizaHons  is  provided  to  parHcipants  for  the  duraHon  of  the  program  at  no  extra  cost.  

Build  Program  Propel  ICT  is  Atlan6c  Canada’s    startup  accelerator  

   Build  is  our  accelerator  for  later-­‐stage  startups.    It  is  a  12-­‐week  long  program  designed  for  companies  with  some  early  adopters  that  have  gained  iniHal  market  tracHon.  

Coaching  At  its  heart,  Build  is  about  making  beVer  entrepreneurs.  It  does  this  by  coaching  businesses  in  four  key  areas:    

•  People  •  Strategy  •  Capital  •  Execu6on  

Sessions  Build  is  delivered  over  a  series  of  14  day-­‐long  sessions,  delivered  two  at  a  Hme  over  the  course  of  12  weeks.      The  sessions  take  companies  through  the  following  topics:    Days  1  &  2  Strategy  Part  1:  Customer  validaHon;  Lean  startup;  business  model  canvas;  customer  lifeHme  value  and  ecosystem  modeling;  Mentor  Day  1    Days  3  &  4  People:  Building  your  team,  recruiHng  and  how  to  fire  

 

Days  5  &  6  Execu.on  Part  1:  Sandler  Sales  Workshop    Days  7  &  8    Strategy  Part  2:  Building  and  managing  a  sales  funnel;  how  to  brand  the  company  and  how  to  grow;  hierarchy  of  direct,  indirect  &  mixed  channels;    building  compensaHon  models  to  align  with  business  strategy;  indirect  markeHng;  SaaS,  affiliates  &  other  markeHng  /  sales  vehicles    Days  9  &  10  Cash  Part  1:  Company  building  and  building  a  financial  model

Days  11  &  12  Cash  Part  2:  VC  Business  model;  VC  Psychology  101;  the  Pitch;  your  VC    meeHng    Days  13  &  14  Execu.on  Part  2:  Board  of  Directors;  managing  your  board;  post  funding    This  year,  Build  sessions  will  be  held  at  the  Venn  Centre  in  Moncton,  New  Brunswick.  The  cost  of  the  program  is  $5000.

Comple6on  Following  compleHon  of  the  Build  program,  entrepreneurs  are  eligible  to  apply  for  the  $150,000  BDC  ConverHble  Note  program.      ParHcipants  must  aVend  all  sessions  to  qualify  for  the  ConverHble  Note  investments,  and  to  be  eligible  to  pitch  at  Demo  Day.
